"

"French‐y and artistic, these cool board books will pique the interest of hip parents and their bébés." – Real Simple

"Instantly engage the child from the very beginning. . . it is clear to see that they go far beyond the realms of everyday books; enlightening, inspiring and exciting children." – Family Fun Guide

"Hervé’s work is a sumptuous visual assault to the eyes, a stylized celebration of color, of pattern, of textures. . . the brevity of text is precisely what brings the books to life." – Junior

Bought this for my 3 year old, but my 1 year old likes it even better! Its a very simple premise - draw a face on 2 fingers and put them through the hole in the book. What's not to love about that for a kid?

This little book is adorable! It's simple, colorful, and engaging. It's recommended for an older child, but my 11 month old grandson loves looking at the pictures alone or having me read it to him when I draw faces on my fingers to create the finger worms.

I recently purchased this book for my daughter. We have an empty bookshelf in her nursery, and i'm determined to fill it with classics that i remember from when i was a child. This book was one of my favorites because my finger was the worm! I hope she grows up to enjoy books as much as i do.

We bought this book probably a year ago when my son was three and it's still one of his all-time favorites. We have long since abandoned the actual printed text and make up our own words. We have great fun drawing different faces on our fingers popping the faces in and out of the holes. The only problem is that it isn't really a great bedtime book as we tend to get somewhat wound up over it.

This is such a fun book! I have an 11 month old and an almost 3 year old and they both love it. There's not a big story line but it's mostly just for fun with the finger worms anyway. I love that my toddler will sit and have fun doing it himself for a while. I love anything that can entertain him on his own! :) My baby giggles and is memorized by my fingers in the holes too.

I bought this for my 2-year old. It has become her favorite book! After I read it to her I ask her to read it to me and it's just so adorable watching her put her little fingers in the holes. It's a great interactive book with a silly little story. It's a lot of fun to read.

Absolutely adorable and inventive book. The author's creativity continues to amaze and delight me. I got this book as a gift for a young niece, she was ABSOLUTELY THRILLED with it and wanted to read it over and over again.
Herve Tullet never disappoints.
