This game is great and good for all ages that can spell. It is a grid (all different shapes and sizes) of letters and you make words from adjoining letters. There are different challenges and perks and a "counter" that counts down each time you make a word (this is NOT a timed game; 3 letter words "cost" more than 4 letter words which cost more than 5 letter words and so on). If you reach "zero" before you finish, that sub- level is over and you must re-do that sub-level before you move on. There are 10 levels with 5 sub-levels for each. You are awarded the points from the "counter" that you do not use and you are awarded trophies for all manner of things (like: spelling an anagram [such as DAD], or word with a lot of vowels or consonants, etc.). Once you finish all 10 levels (that is one game), you can start over on the same game or begin another. Either way, each time is different with different letter combos in each grid. Even some of the grids are different. So it is never the same twice. You can pause the game at any time and come back to where you quit any time. You should finish the grid you are on or you'll have to re-do that grid. You can download a 60 minute trial version from gaming web sites such as Tucows or GameHouse (or put: freeware games :in you browser), but buy it here at Amazon. It is cheaper and more reliable.
I love word games and this one is really fun for me. I beat it the first day, but I think that was a fluke because I started playing it again and I am having trouble getting past this one area. It's a challenge, but worth it.
I love word games and this one is really great. It can be frustating at times but it makes you think and keep playing. Its a bit of a challenge but I need that. :)
