Our favorite Gardein product!

These are my families favorite of the gardein products. Just the "chicken" part - though we do use the sauce occasionally it is rather sweet and kind of syrupy so not a favorite. However, the "meat" part is really excellent and perfect in shape and size. They cook up wonderfully and can be used all over the place in salads or in bowls and such. We love these one's - they are often out of stock which I take to be a good sign they are popular!

This Teriyaki Chi’ken from Gardein is fantastic, while you are sautéing the entire package in a skillet over 2TBs of (I use virgin Olive Oil) you can simultaneously be thawing out the frozen Teriyaki sauce in a big mug under Very Hot to Scalding water. Once your done browning the chik’n each side like 2.5 min each, the sauce packet is ready to be cut and poured out over your meal…. Move it to a plate and you have enough food to satisfy you & another with a portion that will satisfy you and leave just enough room for a desert or something else light to enjoy after. For One person alone, if you are into fitness and keep track of protein and caloric intake, this is a great meal for one that you can feel good about …good clean healthy protein, flavor & calories in the right amounts that satisfied your hunger.
