We continue where the first book ended, but the plot takes a drastic turn, possibly for the worst, at least for Eden. This series is a trilogy and already I am anxiously awaiting the next installment.
I won't give any spoilers, but I will say that Eden and Asher have their work cut out for them. Can Eden return? Will Asher see her again even though she's only in the next room? Readers of the trilogy will now what I speak of. Those who don't, well you're just going to have to read it, won't you?
In conclusion, I would just like to add that I once again find myself enthralled by Ms. Hunter and her web of words. But I have no fear that I will read another of her works soon. She never keeps her readers waiting too long.
Well done on yet another treasure, Laura.
The way the book was written was nice and fast paced, just like the first one. There were a lot of events that were unexpected. Laura had a good way of keeping things a mystery, and make people wonder, and then right at the right moment, drop a bomb.
It was nice to see the same characters again, and see them interact with one another. My opinion on a few of the characters, like Jazmine and Lakyn, definitely changed throughout the book. Things definitely got revealed in this book, and The ending was as shocking as ever.
The book was really well written and and I loved how the story progressed. I can't wait to read what happens in the next book, Garden of Fate. I really want to see what happens with Eden and Asher, the main characters, as well as Jazmine. I have to give this book 5 out of 5 stars.
There are some surprising revelations, which I didn't expect so I won't spoil, and Eden's parents must put aside their differences and come together to save their daughter.
The comparative points of view between Eden, Asher and Jazmine move the story along at a great pace. I am addicted to this amazing series and was sad when it ended. I want the next instalment now! A must read.
We are reunited with Eden and Asher as they continue with their journey. I am not going to spoil the story for you, I want you to become involved and invested like I am. Now I just have to sit here and attempt to patiently wait for the conclusion.
