High quality multivitamin

I've been taking this multivitamin for years after looking for something better than the store-brand at the health food store. At first I privately balked at the price, but my curiosity got the best of me, and therefore I gave it a try. While I can't say that there is a night and day difference between this and other multivitamins I've taken (as some of the other reviews claim), I feel good enough about it to continue buying it.

One of the things that caught my attention initially, was the lower levels of vitamins and minerals in it compared to the mega amounts found in most multivitamins these days. I never gave this much thought until I started looking into it, and realized that the reason there are such huge amounts in other multivitamins is because they aren't well absorbed, and therefore a lot has to be included. There is such a thing as getting too much of a good thing, and getting too much of your vitamins and minerals from your multivitamin instead of your food is hard of your body.

One of the other things I noticed about this multivitamin is that it is designed to be taken throughout the day. Some people may find this to be a drag because it's one more thing to keep up with, but if you really stop to think about it, does it really make sense to load-up on an entire days-worth of vitamins and minerals all at once? I guess it's possible that getting it all done with at once is the best way to do it, but it doesn't seem to be commonly accepted. You eat several meals per day to spread out the nutrition you're getting from what you're eating, so should you do the same with the vitamins you're taking?

Well it's been several years since I first started taking Garden of Life Multivitamin for men, and during the time I've tried other multivitamins, however I keep coming back to this one. Can I say that there is an absolute difference in how I feel by taking this one over others? No. I can say that I feel pretty confident in the way it is designed and what's inside, which is good enough for me. This seems to be pure and made from things your body will recognize, and not in mega amounts that seem unlikely that anybody could consume from food if they tried. Hope this helps!

Vitamin Code 50 and Wiser Men's vitamins could be named Vitamin Code 66 and Wiser! I retired 26 years ago from the Marine Corps and now I am 66 years old. For years I tried various vitamins, supplements etc to help maintain my health at a satisfactory level. None worked. Then about two years ago I ran across Vitamin Code 50 and Wiser on the Net. I have been taking those vitamins every day since then. Code 50 and Wiser have helped more than I can say. I no longer take prostate medication, my blood pressure is normal and I can digest food better. Code 50 and wiser has helped to maintain my health at a satisfactory level. Recomend it to all men. Been buying these vitamins for a decade.

You can read the description ... they are not make like standard vitamins, they actually come from a (living) culture. So, what does that mean? Well, probably along with all the recognized and catalogued vitamins that are on the label - the standard list, and very complete - they have all sorts of other vitamin-like compounds, though went along with the ride.

I've tried things like centrum ... ug. Feels like I ate a pile of industrial waste or something. Super synthetic. These are naturally derived.

Do they work? Yes. Someone asked me, "Well, how you do know they work?" It's pretty obvious - my skin is much clearer when I take vitamins. [I'm too old to be breaking out, to tell the truth. I just chalk it up to my youthful nature! Lol.]

But more subjectively, I tend to sleep better, and my mood just feels more stable.

One thing - they say take FOUR a day. That's 100% of the RDA ... oh, but I eat this stuff called "food" as well, which also has vitamins in it. So I take two, I think that's the right amount.

Also in general, I always try to take them with food. I think your body treats them more efficiently that way.

Great vitamin. Been taking this for about 3 years and have only gotten sick 3-4 times in that time frame, even with little children always sick around me. I always recommend this to all my friends who get sick easily. Also I feel healthy and energetic, although I exercise 4-6 times a week. It's not cheap so normally I only take this in the morning and I have to have some food with it, otherwise I feel a little too wired, maybe from the vitamin B. Although I hear from others they can take it on an empty stomach so i guess it depends on the person. Also if I take it too late in the evening I sometimes have trouble sleeping, which is why I only take it in the morning, again each person is different. I have some friends who take it at 7pm and have no trouble sleeping.

If you are looking for a good multi vitamin, give
This one a shot, especially is you are active or always get sick.

These are the best of all the vitamins I have taken. The capsules are very easy to swallow, and they work. I have felt better and when sickness came in the house, I did not contract it. I have been taking these daily for 3 years now. I was vitamin deficient on multiple fronts due to medical reasons (digestive issues) so decided I should start taking a good daily multivitamin to help combat my undernourishment. Have these helped, I honestly do not know but they can't be hurting. I like the fact they are primarily food based (RAW) and contain some trace probiotics and enzymes as well.

PROS: Super easy to swallow and can be taken without question on an empty stomach
CONS: Have to take 2 pills, 2 times per day (4 daily) morning and night, don't forget!
