Product Description

Recently named the "Worlds Most Advanced Container Garden", the newly released Garden Tower 2 features food grade USA-made HDPE (non-toxic, BPA & PVC free plastic) components, FDA-approved dye and UV-protection antioxidant package for health, durability, and recyclability.

The Garden Tower is a revolutionary vertical self-contained garden / composting system that redefines home gardening, urban gardening, and vermicomposting.
Utilizing 6 cu.ft. of potting soil, the Garden Tower allows for the abundant growth of 50 plants vertically in a minimal footprint and eliminates weeding, electricity, nutrient loss, and most water loss associated with conventional gardening.

Garden Tower 2 improvements over the Garden Tower 1:
1) Enhanced nutrient distribution: The vermicompost tube at the core of every Garden Tower features 265% more perforations for greater access by plant roots and enhanced aeration
2) Stacking & nesting planting rings: Customizable tower height and less soil compaction
3) It rotates! 360 degree rotation made possible by a robust integrated bearing track = optimized sun exposure and better plant access in tight spaces
4) Removable compost tea drawer and compost screen: better access, controlled compost release, and less bending over
5) Wide, heavy, reinforced, anchorable feet attach the tower securely to a rooftop, etc.
6) Even heavier built and more UV resistant: The Garden Tower 2 is a full eight pounds heavier than the robust Garden Tower 1.1 and features the maximum amount of food-grade UV protection available in the industry for an expected 7-12 year lifespan even in harsh climates.

The Garden Tower IS the Ultimate Patio Farm.

I have two of the original garden towers in white! These units are amazing. They are sustainable, easy to plant, easy to water and all you do is add your kitchen scraps into the center of the tower where you also have red wriggler worms to do the amazing work of creating your very own fertilizer from their castings. And now the garden tower project company is offering this new color "terra-cotta". Every family should have one of these. You will love it!!!! And as a bonus, every few months, you can collect the composted black organic material from the bottom of the tower and us this to spread around your other gardens. My husband just went outside to take our kitchen scraps and put them into the center of the towers. He will empty both buckets of liquid fertilizer before watering the tower again. I average two "five" gallon buckets of liquid fertilizer everyday!!! All our house plants and porch plants and garden plants benefit everyday from this. My family, neighbors and friends are all amazed at how healthy and beautiful all our landscaping is. This garden tower is the secret! Get your tower today and you will not be disappointed!!! Bought the GT2 and started my garden in April. It was fabulous! Like many other users, I live in a condo and it enables me to grow organically. I used my greens for my green smoothie and salads and to be able to have an herb garden right out my patio door is wonderful and the convenience of picking whenever I want is great. I suffered from Rheumatoid Arthritis, so weeding and excessive bending is out of the question. The GT2 enables me to enjoy vegetable gardening with minimal efforts and it is therapeutic for me. Like any other gardens, soil condition and light are the keys. My porch gets limited sunlight, but the greens are still thriving, though might not be robust as other users. The compost bin in the middle have provided me with compost every 2 months, as well as compost tea for other plants as well. Planning to start another GT2 indoors in my utility room soon. The company has a FB user group page, and gives great support and enable users to exchange ideas and help each other to solve problems. I highly recommend getting this product!

Man, where do I start? Where do I start?? I'm warning you guys, this is a long review, but I hope this review would further convince you to invest in this AMAZING product!

First, let me say that it helps if you have some background in gardening. This product tries to mimic nature, so that means you need to have some idea of how to plant seeds, how much water the seeds need, how much sunlight your plants need to get, what is the right season to grow anything, how to control pest, etc. It also helps if you know a little bit about vermicomposting (composting with worms). This tower WILL NOT work magic for you. All the rules of gardening in the ground applies to this tower.

My wife and I received this product this past May of 2015. We live in an apartment with 90 square feet of back patio space. Let me say that with so little space, we were able to grow a SIGNIFICANT amount of food and gave some food away! We were able to grow lettuce, eggplant, tomatoes, bell peppers, hot peppers, bok choy, spinach, basil, stevia, broccoli, arugula, Swiss chard, beets, and cilantro.

The Garden Tower has a wonderful composting system. In the center of the tower, there is a compost tube where you could throw your kitchen scraps so that worms could eat them. These worms would go through small holes in the compost bin to fertilize your garden. However, it helps to have some basic knowledge of worm composting. While using the compost system IS NOT necessary, it surely does help boost your garden when done right.

Another great aspect to this tower is that you could grow root vegetables such as potatoes, beets, carrots, garlic, onions, turnips, etc!

I finally got around to setting up my garden tower and boy I'm so happy that I did. The garden tower was easy to set up and has been incredibly easy to maintain these past few weeks. I can't believe how many plants it will hold. In fact, I've run out of new herbs that I want to add to my garden. I'll have order some more exotic herbs online. The garden tower's compost system has been easy to maintain too with no mess and no need to turn the compost. The tea that collects at the bottom of the tower is easy to pour back into the tower, making daily watering a snap.

I have had this tower 6 months. The center tube that holds the worms and compost literally fell thru the bottom. My husband tried to jack it up to put it back 2 times, but it fell back out. I finally had to scoop all the dirt out of the tower (it is a LOT of soil). I then discovered the reason it fell out - the only thing holding it in is a rubber gasket about 1/2 in. In width. The gasket is not wide enough to support the heavy weight of the compost. I emailed the company shortly after I lot it and asked about it falling out. I got no response. I did not try to return to Amazon because it is so big and I didn't want to empty all the dirt. I have given up on the compost and my tube is now empty and I have placed screen in the bottom to provide better drainage and support the tube. I left the plug out of the tube. The drainage in the bottom isn't sufficient for the size of the container. When we got heavy rains, it did not drain well and my plants on the bottom rotted. I expect better quality and better customer service for the price,
