I've had mine for about 16 years now and they are great. Look closely at the die profile in the pictures of these as well as others-note the dies in the jaws of similar products by Klein and others do not have as versatile of functions. The GB crimpers allow you to fold over the ends to make a perfect "B" (laying on its side that is), correct it if you didn't, THEN tighten it up afterward. These are the best of their type for any money. I have certifications in Mil Spec Aviation micro wire bundle repair, did professional car audio installations for many years, and have two roll away cabinet drawers full of just pliers- mostly various kinds of electrical. If I have to crimp a terminal, this pair, and only this pair, are the ones I reach for.

Like a few other reviewers, the pliers I received have poor machining so the jaws don't line up properly which renders them almost completely useless. I'll be returning them for a refund and I'll post a picture showing the issue with the jaws.

The Channellock 909 crimping pliers are much better and can be found here: Channellock 909 Crimping Tool with Cutter

Edit...

I uploaded a product image to show the misaligned jaw and the overall poor quality of the tool.

I do a LOT of wiring - professionally, and at home - and these are easily the best crimpers I've found. Not only are they built right (cutter outboard of crimpers), but they have 2 crimp jaws AND 2 final crush jaws (something that's not mentioned in the description, and barely visible in the photo). The crush jaws are really the clincher on these UNDERPRICED pliers: once you've crimped the connector to the wire, crushing it makes it ~3x tighter, and less-likely to pull apart, even if you try. With these crimpers, unlike most higher-priced brands, you can actually produce crimps that look like industrial wiring. And they cost ~1/3 of those other brands. The only reason I didn't give them 5* is because they're not made in USA.

I use PowerPoles for almost all of my 12v gear, including in my ham radio shack and my car. There are many more expensive options out there to crimp, and if you're crimping 10+ a day they may be worth it. But for me, just for hobby use, this delivers perfect, easy crimps on PowerPoles and other 12v connectors.

I've had a set of these for probably 15 years and they've always been my favorite crimper. I ordered another pair to add to my mobile tool box and am pretty disappointed. The pliers first off look nothing like the picture, they now have a really bulky comfort grip. The head is much bulkier now also and well it's not as bad as others have stated, the crimps don't line up perfectly like the old one. I'm pretty sure my old one was U.S.A. made and this newer version is just Chinese junk. I've added a picture of my old one and the new for reference. Not sure why it's so hard to find a decent crimper I like these days. Even the snap-off one sucks...

This crimping tool works great and makes a much more solid crimp compared to the cheap tools that you can get at the local hardware store. I always had problems with loose wires, but with this tool the results are much better. At this price, it's a no-brainer. So far, I've used this with Anderson Power Pole contacts (15 and 30 amp), and a variety of insulated and non-insulated terminals, and it works great on everything so far.

GB tools are generally excellent, I have several of them that are workhorses. This one I had to return to the vendor, not the vendor's fault, as the dies in the jaws were so misaligned that it would be impossible to crimp anything properly. I am 100% surprised that it passed any QC checks at GB, they were visibly offset to one side of the crimp U channel. It is almost as if it was machined incorrectly on one side of the jaws.
Very disappointed in the GB quality. The materials looked to be good enough but the manufacturing was terrible.
I am looking for a suitable alternative from another manufacturer as this has disturbed me about GB quality & I am hesitant to get another one now.

The best for the money! You can't beat the price for this tool. If you're going to be using butt connectors for even ONE job, get this tool. It makes the connections solidly, and securely. This is SO much better than trying to crimp with a pair of wire cutters (dikes). I have used mine many times, and always kick myself for not getting one of these sooner.
