Well the switch works. A little harder to turn on and off than original switch in my RV but maybe it will last longer. Not a problem just stiffer push button. Seems to be of much better quality than the switches in my RV. I have had to replace all of the original switches.

This switch is the exact match (almost) for the work light switch that finally wore out. The reason I say 'almost' is that the original push button was plastic, but the new one is metal. I can't say whether it's good or bad, but it fit perfectly. I am very happy!

I purchased this switch to replace the current defective switch. The old switch I had purchased from my local Ace and it only lasted about 6 months before failing. I wasn't sure what brand it was, so I took a gamble on the Gardner Bender switch. Much to my disappointment, after removing the old switch, discovered that it is indeed the same brand.

After swapping out the old for the new, I tried testing the switch. At first, the switch would not work. I had to push it several times before it would turn the light on. It now appears to be functioning, but my expectations are very low based on my prior experience. The feel of the switch is cheap.

I'll be looking for a higher quality replacement, in anticipation of this one failing.
