I received this tea tree oil on Feb 24th to deal with a bump that randomly appeared on my cartilage piercing. Before you piercing junkies come at me for hoops, I personally chose them because I heal better with them. This bump was benign overall, but it lasted for 2.5 months and would itch occasionally—plus it was just plain ugly. I tried cleaning it more often, no change. I tried oil blends, no change. I tried the aspirin method… very minimal change. Mind you, I never slept on it. I finally caved and bought tea tree oil because I figured this was my last option. I didn’t want to give up on this piercing because of my stubborn right ear! So I bought this and applied with a water-dampened q-tip day and night. In four days, I was already seeing positive changes. It shrunk a lot and the bump wasn’t pronounced as before. I kept up the routine daily until I hit the three week mark. I noticed that the color was back to normal and the bump was practically flat, nonexistent, and there was no irritation! Safe to say—this works. I’m so glad I didn’t have to give up on this piercing, and now I have a method that I know works for me in case this happens again. People complain about the smell, but I like it, even despite its strength. The benefits outweigh that for me. The amount of oil they give you looks small, but considering what I used it for, it’s life a lifetime supply. It barely looks like I’ve used it. So I say buy it. Give it a few weeks. It won’t hurt.

I was using raw garlic but it was messy - so I am trying the oil instead.

This is good stuff here. I used to always have a container of Vix on my nightstand until I discovered this stuff. This eucalyptus essential oil is amazing for clearing the nasal passage and giving breathing relief. A drop rubbed on the bridge of the nose and on the outside of the nostrils does the job! Can't recommend this oil enough if your nasal passages get dry or clogged in the late hours.

I nearly listened to some of the negative reviews and I am so glad I didn’t! First, yes, this oil is definitely diluted. Absolutely. Unfortunate, but the color alone gives that away because it’s completely clear and nutmeg oil, it’s a pale yellow to light brown in color by it’s very nature. One of my favorite oils actually. I use nutmeg in all forms almost daily. So with multiple different brands of ground nutmeg and, currently, I have 2 different varieties of whole nutmeg stored in the dark corners of my cabinet where I keep all of my raw ingredients away from the heat and light. At this moment I also have 4 different brands of nutmeg oil with various extraction methods and varieties. I will tell you this as well, I had 3 people I did a blind test with when I received this oil. Not one of them, nor myself, with my extremely sensitive senses and my life long experience using and adoring nutmeg, none of us could notice any difference from the fragrance of this oil when compared to my fresh, whole nutmeg (chopped up), no difference between the store bought name brands of ground nutmeg and it smells exactly like 2 of my very trusted brands of organic nutmeg oil. It’s SLIGHTLY weaker because of whatever carrier oil they obviously used to thin it but that carrier is absolutely odorless. The slight weakening of the potency really is barely noticeable and the people I tested this with, only 1 even noticed that it is slightly diluted by fragrance alone. Of course I noticed and really was upset AT FIRST but it hasn’t affected the overall benefits, use or fragrance in the end results. I did purchase on sale and would have been furious about the dilution IF I had paid anything more than what I did. But I am happy enough to have ordered another bottle so. Eh, do with that what you will. I wouldn’t hesitate to order again in the future but only at the same price point. I have brands I KNOW are completely pure that I would buy if I have to pay more.

Update 6/30/17: I just read that cinnamon oil can help with ticks in the yard. Now, you'll need a lot of it (it's a "hot oil"), but it's nice to know. Also Rose Geranium (that's one oil, not two) is also famous for using on your pets in this regard.

Certainly this is not approved by the FDA, and I am no way any kind of medical or holistic practitioner. However, my own research and my own use (I was totally skeptical about all this stuff) has put me into the "solid believer" rank.

The FDA cracked down hard on these companies about what they claimed for their products. What that bit of information means is: You have to do your own research.

If you check Dr. Axe (who is endorsed by Dr Oz), you'll see he really favors cinnamon above all the rest. Now--why? Certainly NOT just for it's scent-- no, both cinnamon leaf, and bark have AMAZING antibacterial and antimicrobial functions. (what's that mean?). Testing has shown they kill bacteria and viruses. (yes, it's true--do your own research). Try researching: Essential oil testimonies, and see what you might find. I was astonished, and in fact, am using two of the "ideas" I found. One I will likely use forever, the other hasn't proved itself (yet).

And that, my friends is the real secret of those smart people who are using essential oils. The high quality oils WORK. They help. (notice I said "high quality". There are many many high quality oils out there, but likely you won't find them on the shelf at the supermarket. (Healing solutions is trustworthy in my opinion). Not only that, they don't have many side effects.

You can get the benefits by diffusing, and applying topically (but cinnamon requires a "carrier" (olive, aloe vera, jojoba) oil to dilute it if you apply it topically, because these oils are highly highly concentrated. (I mean that). That is a hallmark of the better quality oils. A little lasts a long time.

Four years ago, the stress of work and lack of sleep led to 4-5 bouts of bronchitis (and I ALWAYS lost my voice) ; in the past 3 1/2 years, only one cold that didn't turn into bronchitis (and my voice wasn't affected--that was huge). That meant no doctor visits, no medical bills, no medicine. I just got better (YAY!), while everyone else at church was very ill and on meds. Inhalation of oils and diffusion, and applying them topically made the difference.

You'll thank yourself by learning what this essential oil revolution is all about.

Cinnamon Bark and Cinnamon leaf each have a different formulation that does slightly different things. Again, do your research so you understand what this is all about.

You cannot get the oil to drip out even though there doesn’t seem to be any blockage. You have to shake quite hard and most times nothing coming out, or occasionally you get a few drops at once, which is quite wasteful for an expensive oil. Will not buy this brand again.
