The provided Ram support looks very solid, the downside is looks very ugly without the GPS installed, factory may consider a aftermarket cover.
4 stars instead 5 for two dislike reasons, the bright is not enough under straight sun light and the internal processor can be faster for a $500 unit, the screen turns laggy like a 1990 computer.
Dont install the unit straight to your battery, the small little box in the GPS wiring is a 12 to 5 volts converter and eventually going to drain your battery.
Connect the + wire to a ignition point such is the headlight fuse or similar.
Connecting to the ignition point the GPS unit going to turn on/off when you start or stop the ignition with the key with no battery draining and ugly surprises.
