What should I expect to receive with my Amazon Renewed purchase and in what condition?

My beef with these small units is they are way more expensive than a car GPS, work way worse, come with no usable mapping and have a ridiculously tiny screen. Buying used saved me a hundred bucks when tax is figured in. Still way too much for what you get but, at least I don't feel as bad. Bought the proper detailed marine mapping for my area--$100. from a third party vendor. Garmin wanted $200!
In short these units are a total ripoff, but this one is the best of the bunch. Screen is adequately visible but, could be brighter. Doesn't require menu searching as most functions can be met with the 'physical' buttons on the unit, or a screen away-- important if you need to use your hands especially while wearing gloves!
But, if you're a serious kayaker it is a must have. Every island starts to look like every other island after a while.
