The original cord failed, primarily due to a lot of coiling and uncoiling for daily use in a variety of vehicles. This cord is more robust than the original. In case you are wondering, do NOT purchase a non-Garmin cord for your Garmin GPS. Something else may power it, but the GPS functionality will not be the same, or some functions may not even work. Worth the money.

Tenía un rato buscando un nuevo cable de energía ya que el original que viene con el Nüvi 265WT ya tenía un "falso" y en movimiento del automóvil suministraba energía de manera incosistente.

Con cierto temor compré el artículo ya que siempre he comprado equipo ORIGINAL para equipo original.. y sip, mi compra fué 100% satisfactoria pues era justo lo que estaba buscando.

Es original y lo recomiendo.

Un solo detalle es que el artículo no cuenta con el "chip" para recibir el estado del tráfico pero en MX no está disponible dicho servicio, así que no importa.
