This book is so simple to follow. It makes painting with watercolor as easy as A-B-C. I don't remember seeing instructions as easy to follow as the ones in this book. I have watched Gary many times on our local TV network. You will enjoy this book and painting all of the wondrous landscapes. I recommend this to anyone who needs help in getting started in watercolors.

If you've ever watched Gary Spetz on his T.V. show, then this book will go along great with it. Nice step by step instructions. This is a good book for beginners as well as seasoned artists. His instructions are clear and easy to understand. Many helpful hints and tips, too.

I have many watercolor books, but I am always looking for better ways to achieve the end result. I enjoyed watching Gary on TV and his style. I know I won't use all the masking he uses, but I like many ways that he achieves the end result of blending colors and I will use some of his procedures.

This book is incompatible with Kindle reader for Mac. It also doesn't rotate on my iPad, forcing me to try and read microscopic type in a two-page landscape format. Very poorly thought out and instantiated into an ebook. If you like Gary Spetz, order the hard copy edition.
