From the Back Cover

The Secrets of Heaven are Finally Revealed!

"...[Jacob] dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven... [and he saw] the angels of god ascending and descending on it.
And he was afraid, and said, 'How dreadful is this place! This is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.'"
--Genesis 28:12, 17 KJV.

This ground-breaking and provocative book presents new and astonishing interpretations of ancient history, mythology and world religions that will call many established beliefs into question. In Gateway of the Gods, author Craig Hines invites readers to reconsider preconceived notions concerning Biblical theology in light of recent scientific discoveries and inquiries concerning the nature of the universe. This fascinating exploration reveals a number of ideas that have been suppressed and obscured behind layers of symbolism and misguided propaganda for thousands of years... until now.

  • Why is it that so many world cultures share details of an event when fallen angels descended upon the earth and fathered hybrid offspring called the Nephilim?
  • Is it possible that these beings used "gateway" technology housed within pyramids and holy temples to travel between the heavenly and earthly realms?
  • Do the latest advances in theoretical physics lend credibility to the idea that otherworldly beings might reside in dimensions parallel to our own?
  • Do the recorded voices of the "dead," known as Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP), indicate that we may be able to communicate with these other realms?
  • Was a secret message embedded within ancient texts that could only be revealed after we have attained the knowledge and technology necessary to understand it?
  • Does this message offer a solution to the approaching environmental disaster that scientists warn will be more devastating to human civilization than any others in recorded history?

Drawing from a variety of historical sources and years of meticulous research, the author weaves together a compelling argument involving a range of seemingly disparate topics that when considered together, formulate a radically new narrative concerning the history and destiny of the human race.

About the Author

Craig Hines is a multimedia artist with nearly two decades of experience in the fields of computer graphics, video production, and website design. His interest in computers began at an early age, and has only been rivaled by his fascination with ancient civilizations, paranormal phenomena, science, and technology. His focused research on what would later become Gateway of the Gods began in 1999, and continues through today. Hines believes that his training in multimedia, coupled with his knowledge of the paranormal, has given him a unique point of view, whereby he examines how to make the fantastic real and accessible.

Hines hopes that his research breathes fresh perspective into the field, and that his methods garner the mainstream respect that has eluded other authors. He encourages discussion of the facts, not agendas, both within the scientific and historical communities, and in the population at large. "Finding the truth of the world around us," Hines states, "will depend upon our ability to be honest and open to fantastic possibilities, yet discerning enough to not blindly accept the fantastic as the only plausible explanation."

Genius! Craig Hines has done a masterful job of presenting a clear, compelling, interesting, and at times, humorous, analysis of a huge field of contemporary interest. With cunning and intriguing twists of thought, he builds the narrative with thought provoking questions, intelligent debunking of popular myths, and solid evidence to address the archeological evidence for understanding the nature of ancient beings refered to in the Bible as well as many other ancient religious texts, and how this information is of critical importance for us today, trying to survive in a polluted, overpopulated world. His organization of vast stores of knowledge verges into genius, which I do not say lightly. Chapter summaries and stand alone chapter presentation make the book a breeze to review: in order or according to topic of interest. Calling on experts in ancient languages, his text analysis of ancient writings is superb. I loved that he included the actual heiroglyphs, Hebrew and other ancient texts as well. While convincing, he does not lead the reader on a yellow brick road of gullability: he relies on the strength of his solid and well foot-noted research to persuade.

Usually, I tear through a book in a day or two, and while this is a "can't put it down" volumn with riveting content, I found I often had to take a break to re-read and think over his densely well organized material. I am not passing forward my own copy, which is what I usually do when I find a real diamond of a thought provoking book. Many of my friends are interested in science and employed in tech fields, and they are itching to see Gateway of the Gods, since there are plenty of twilight zone style experiments you can 'do yourself' to demonstrate some of the premises in the book. This time, they will have to get their own copy!

Fallen angels. The paranormal. Global warming. Quantum physics. Such subjects immediately inspire a definitive, if not visceral, reaction in readers. There is often no middle ground. One has faith, or one does not. One believes in the supernatural, or one dismisses such claims to be the products of naïve superstition or over-indulgent imaginations. Currently, the controversy concerning global warming rages throughout the media. Yet as organizations and individuals ardently defend their polarized points of view on the topic, the clock continues to race toward what could be the most devastating environmental disaster our civilization has ever known.

It is not very often that an author successfully tackles even one of these topics in a manner that appears unbiased and agenda free. What would be even more extraordinary, however, is if an author dared to tackle all of these subjects in a single volume and somehow managed to produce a work that is genuinely objective, thought-provoking, as well as inspirational. This is precisely what Craig Hines has accomplished with his debut book, Gateway of the Gods: An Investigation of Fallen Angels, the Nephilim, Alchemy, Climate Change, and the Secret Destiny of the Human Race.

The genre of "New Age" nonfiction is a realm overpopulated by paranoid conspiracy theories, unfounded fears of demonic or extraterrestrial infestation, and sketchy claims of alien abductions. It is an area of research that speaks directly to a restless public that awaits a more convincing declaration of "the Truth." But more often than naught, such works further obfuscate the boundaries between nonfiction and science fiction.

Craig Hines book `Gateway of the Gods' is and insightful and in-depth exploration on three of my favorite topics (Watchers, Fallen Angels and the Nephilim) and the role these beings play in the ultimate destiny of mankind. The 62 pages that comprise Part 2 of this 432 page volume make this book worth the purchase price. His suggestion and subsequent discussion that the terms `Son's of God' and `Nephilim' might refer to not different gradations of angelic beings but actually the same creatures undergoing a title change after their "fall" is masterful and something I had never considered. Mr. Hines makes it so obvious I'm stunned that I could have overlooked that possibility all these years.

I also thoroughly enjoyed the brief 20 pages of Part 1 outlining exactly how the author became involved in the research of such esoteric matters. Dreams have always held a great fascination and significance for me and reading how it was through the vehicle of dreams and the necessary follow up confirmation in the waking state started it all made it personal and exciting for me.

Part 4 is where it gets a little difficult to follow but that comes from my own lack of expertise in matters of hyperspace, gravity, string and M theory and quantum physics in general. Dispite my inadequate level of knowledge in these areas I must say Hines did an admirable and cohesive job at bringing the material together and presenting a comprehensive and understandable analysis that should satisfy both the adept and the novice in these scientific disciplines.
