VERY DISAPPOINTING AND DANGEROUS

I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PRODUCT. I WAS STUDYING SEA GLASS WITH MY KINDERGARTENERS AND ORDERED SEVERAL DIFFERENT COLORS. THIS ITEM, THE BROWN, RED AND ORANGE COLORS CAME VERY BROKEN, SMALL SHARP EDGES, MANY OF IT MISSING DUE TO IT FALLING THROUGH THE NETTING IT WAS SO TINY. THE EDGES WERE SHARP AND I WAS UNABLE TO USE THIS WITH MY KINDERGARTENERS FOR FEAR THEY WOULD CUT THEMSELVES. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PRODUCT AND WANT TO RETURN IT BUT IT IS MORE OF A HASSLE THAN IT IS WORTH. I ALMOST AM TEMPTED TO THROW IT BACK IN THE OCEAN AND GIVE IT ANOTHER CHANCE TO BECOME WHAT IT IS MARKETED AS, SEA GLASS, NOT BROKEN BOTTLE PIECES, VERY DISAPOINTED.Gathered, by BCI Crafts Decorative Sea Glass, Red & Brown Mix

Not Sea Glass, this is sanded and painted clear glass

Warning...THIS PRODUCT IS NOT SEAGLASS! I purchase a bag of Blue, Green and Yellow and a bag of Red, orange and white. All of this glass is clear glass that has been sanded and then painted to the various colors. I was going to return it as it isn't sea glass but I had an additional project that I thought I could use it. The edges were not round and sanded so I pulled out my dremel tool smooth them out and in the process, it took the paint off. BEWARE OF THIS PRODUCT!

Dunno if it was their mis-representation, or my misinterpretation of description, but I'm not thrilled.

Thought I had bought green and yellow (or was it blue and yellow?), & got pale, pale blue and faded white.
I could do a work-around w/colors since I was mostly after blue, anyway... BUT I thought I was getting chunks of (previously molten) glass.. somewhat like a pebble or stone. What I received was a small bag of shattered window glass.

The edges ARE smoothed, and there are various sizes (from 1/4 in. to 1 1/2 in).

NOT what I needed :(

I have the blue mix of "sea glass." Please note that I am pretty sure this is just tumbled blue glass and not actual sea glass that washed up on the beach somewhere. But it will suit my purposes just fine.

I had a variety of sizes in mine (including some really tiny pieces that came through the netting, so be super careful when you open this). I bought this to practice soft soldering (i.e., wrapping with copper foil tape and soldering around the edges to make pendants and such) and there are lots of great, color-coordinated pieces for that. Most of my pieces were of a thickness that suggests they may have originally been part of a bottle (or were designed to look like that, anyway), which is a good weight for jewelry making.

I received basically the color mix shown in the official product image, though with more of the dark blue color than anything else. That's fine by me as I do like that color and, as I said, this is mostly for practicing a new craft technique.

In the end, I am happy with this because it will work for my intended purposes and it didn't break the bank. Once I am through with practice and am comfortable with the technique, I may look for something nicer, but this is fine as a learning material.

Exactly what i was looking for barious subtle colors and sizes. It is flat sea glass i sepcifically needed flat for a wondow mosaic. Had ourcjased several types onaazin and had to return all butntjese for the others were jice stones but i needed flat flass. This company is the only one i found with flat glass.
Somewhat cloudy-chak like dust. Imwill rinse before using and he i will place bag between towel and hit with mallet asi. Wanted smal tiny pieces for my project . Will post photo when complete. Photo now ofnthe avtual
Sizes before rinsing in water.
Highly reccommend. For some reasonsupply
And demamd idk the reddish stones were higher priced and only avail for purchase from diff seller.
