Gay USA is a dated view of the gay community from years back. It is in black and white and the video quality is par for the course considering the state of the art at that time. I watched it out of interest in our gay history. I found it a bit dry and repetitive at some points but continue on to the end. I would only recommend it if you have a great interest in gay history....It focuses mostly on the Gay Pride Parades at the time.

This documentary needed more research to be accurate. They did nothing to make it interesting and watchable. I got bored within the first 26 minutes of the film nothing exciting happened to keep me watching the film till the end. Since I didn't finish watching the film I am giving it 2 stars in case I missed something at the end of the film

great primary source information..
I could do without the folk music.. gave me a headache.. not the lyrics.. I'm just not a fan of folk music.
Love the sentiments.. both heartening ..and sad.. that the same fight .. is still going on .. demands for equality..
the sentiment that gays are humans..and deserve.. respect, equal rights, protection from discrimination ..

what is heartening is that .. there is the understanding.. people can be different..you don't have to understand it.. to know equal rights.. are RIGHT.. and good
it's sad.. because.. it's been 40 yrs.. still fighting.. for these very things.. though.. lots of positive changes have come in the last 2 generations.. so there is hope .. and the documentary helps.. show that hope..and forward push towards.. equality
