Rachel and Theo are immediately attracted to each other, though don’t necessarily like each other very much, but regardless they both admire each other somewhat for what they stand for and what they’ve achieved with their dreams and goals.
Theo is a germaphobe, doesn’t like being in crowds, and doesn’t do well with public speaking. Poor thing has Asperger's Syndrome. Rachel tries her best to help him manage these worries when they go together to a fund raiser for Theo’s business. But alas it only works so well and after one too many glasses of Champagne to help calm his nerves, Theo passes out in front of the mic when he’s getting ready to thank everyone for coming.
Rachel takes him home to take care of him and after waking up, slightly embarrassed, a few hours later, Theo takes notice that Rachel is still there with him. She takes the opportunity to basically pounce on Theo who very quickly takes control of the situation. Rachel could have no idea that she’s Theo’s first.
I love how Rachel accidentally comes across Theo’s interest in kink. Unfortunately, at that point there should’ve been some serious dialogue between these two adults, as Theo’s never really experienced any of it before, just read about it. And Rachel has experienced all of it but never with a Master that she felt she could truly totally submit to. Theo and Rachel begin their BDSM experiments but not once does Rachel really tell Theo she’s not new to the scene, but Theo makes the assumption that they are both getting into this together as something neither has done before.
Needless to say we get some drama from Theo when that information comes out, which I can’t help but think was kind of cute to see him so riled up about it. It’s all brand new to him so of course there’s a little bit of apprehension, embarrassment, worry, and some self-consciousness. It’s very interesting to read about someone who is almost 30 going through losing their virginity, it’s just not something you hear about very often, and I really loved how Rachel approached the situation when she realized what was going on.
I would highly recommend this read to romance-erotica readers. There is very light BDSM in this story and it really focuses more on the two individuals and how they grow together.

When Rachel Zelinsky meets Theo Moore she is strangely attracted to the reclusive genius. Theo has Aspergers and struggles in social situations, but his natural dominance calls to Rachel's inner submissive. The pair bond over kink and find bliss in each other's arms, but when Rachel accidentally betrays Theo's trust their relationship is at risk.
Theo is a unique character and I instantly fell in love with him. He is childlike in many ways, and is endearingly awkward but somehow he also manages to be incredibly dominant and sexy. Rachel and Theo are complete opposites and they have many obstacles to overcome, but I thought they made a great couple. Both Rachel and Theo are taken on a journey of self discovery, and they really help each other grow. This was a fantastic book, I enjoyed it a lot, so The Gazillionaire and the Virgin definitely receives five stars.
