This is a 4-layer stack case for Raspberry Pi family. It is compatible with all current Raspberry Pi's including 3 b+, 3 B, 2 B, B+, A+, B and A. You can build more layers on this 4-layer case by purchasing our Stackable Kits. (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MRLM9QS/). This case is 122.4mm (4.8") high (without the rubber feet), 103.4mm (4.1") long, and 74.4mm (2.9") wide. Each internal layer is 27.8mm (1.1") high. Contact us if you need more space for any layer. You need to peel off the protective paper off before using.

The kit came with a top and bottom plate which were thinker than the three additional interior plates. Assembly was easy, although some of the plastic screws were too long, so that one could not completely secure the board to the plates, and resulting in a bit of wiggle. It is not a problem but I was a bit surprised at the oversight.
So, its a bit expensive for a few pieces of plastic, but when I look at them all blinking away in the mounts, I'm quite satisfied.
All the parts we separated into bags for each layer so if you only wanted to build it two deep you had two more bags for later, great thinking.
Added heat sinks for all three main chips and had no problem assembling it, twenty minutes for all four layers.
If I decide to expand my cluster, I would definitely buy another one of these kits.
If you think this kit is too expensive, I guess you could always try to make your own housing from scratch if you have access to a 3d printer or a laser cutter. I don't, so this was a great choice for me.
