Additional Features: Integrated slider chest strap Ergonomic fit Removable waist strap Plug-and-play reservoir tube connector PVC-reinforced compression straps Terraced overlay for adjustable tube configuration Industrial load disbursement cut Reflective tabs and zipper pulls Air drive ventilation Eco rig back pads Heavy-duty nylon pack handle Vertical attachment hoops Internal storage compartments and organizer Filter-ready Lifetime warranty against leaks Weight: 2.65 lbs. If you've ever thought that a Geigerrig product looked like a combination of practical, rugged military style and the innovative appeal of modern outdoor equipment, then you're on the way to understanding the thinking behind the foundation of this industry-leading company. Co-founded by Bob and Curt Geiger, Geigerrig combines Bob's experience in the U.S. Marine Corps with Curt's 40+ years spent as an outdoor retailer. Using cutting-edge patents and old-fashioned problem-solving, Geigerrig alone has made more advancement to the hydration pack product category than the industry has seen since hydration packs first hit the market over 15 years ago.

I usually run alone but I recently I discovered another use: you can share water without worry about germs by spraying water directly into someone's mouth. My kids love this.
Held up for one entire summer without any issues. Might be a little more bulky than a camelbak because of the pump but not significantly heavier. Costs more than a camelbak however as you can often find them on sale. (TSA did not like it and pulled it aside to examine but then allowed it on the plane if I emptied the water. . .)
At first, I thought the pack didn't fit very well but that is because the straps come very tight. I loosened them all up and now it fits great!
If you race Spartan races, or do a lot of outdoor activities, this bag came with a HUGE unexpected bonus! Mine included a "Spartan passport book" with coupons for 25% off a race, one free bag check at a Spartan race, one free parking pass at a Spartan race, plus a ton of other coupons for destinations around the USA. I will probably only use the coupons for the Spartan races, but that alone pays for the bag for me, and now my bag is practically FREE. I am pretty sure the Geigerrig 500 would come with the same passport coupon book, but I have no idea if all the Geigerrig packs do. I don't know why they don't adverise this everywhere, because this coupon book alone would sell a ton of these packs to Spartan racers!
Like that you the bladder is removable and you can turn it inside out. Used it this weekend for a motorcycle trip to the sand dunes. Worked great. Wreck at one point and landed solidly on my hydration pack. It survived my 240 lbs body landing on it will pressurized.
