About the Author
The Geisha Secret was written by a dating and relationship expert, under the pen name Hanako. Recognizing that the geisha has fascinated men for centuries, Hanako extensively studied the geisha as a means of understanding the secret of attracting men. Hanako brings together the geisha's history, revealing how the geisha captured men's hearts. She applies the ways of the geisha to today's modern world so that you know the secret to winning a man's heart. The name Hanako is Japanese for flower (hana) child (ko), which is symbolic of the flower and willow world. Hanako represents all of the women who are hoping to find a man or to be married - a flower bud ready to be nurtured so she can blossom into an exquisite bloom that is desired and loved by men. Hanako is the guide who will teach you The Geisha Secret and how to forever change the way men perceive you. She has passed The Geisha Secret on to you so that if carefully followed, then it will change your life as it has done for so many other women.

Grace and refinement are possible for American women interested in developing these qualities. If that interests you, you'll like this book.
It does not advice you playing games or changing yourself but bringing out and developing your femininity, your talent, your virtues and your intellect. The advice is well grounded, sensible and good for any woman, as advises you to keep your health and beauty rituals, to cultivate your mind and spirit, to be a good humble person, to have a mind of your own, being independent, knowledgeable and intellectually cultivated, and to treat your man as a man and with the same respect that you want from him.
Much of the advice is already known but the Geisha connection makes the book really entertaining and a bit different from other dating books.
The only down is that offers a model of submissive woman in which she does all the work to attract and keep the man and the relationship.
However, some of the tips were pretty good. I believe that any of them can be used at work or throughout daily life in order to create harmony in all relationships.
If you're a tomboy, that's completely fine! But I feel that this book is more for the people who like ribbons, and frills, and fluttery eyelashes, and pink. Very delicate and feminine book.
