Power wash your deck, driveway, patio furniture and more with this powerful pressure washer from Generac. Long been known for their quality engines, this model is no exception, equipped with a powerful 196cc Generac OHV engine. Also included are three Quick-Click nozzle tips (0-degree Blast, 25-degree Clean, Soap) and a 25 foot hose. Generac's power washers are carefully engineered for longevity and ease of use, with well thought-out features not found on competitive models. Easy to maneuver, the welded frame is designed for durability, with a built-in step for easy starting and an integrated gun holster. The easily accessible high-performance axial cam pump provides maximum heat dissipation for extended life and the easy to pull trigger reduces fatigue. The pump is located well above the ground, eliminating the need to kneel down to make hose connections. Backed with a 2 year limited warranty. Founded in 1959, Generac has earned a reputation as the company home and business owners turn to when the power goes out. The first to engineer affordable home standby generators, along with the first engine developed specifically for the rigors of generator use, Generac now sells more home standby generators than all of our competitors combined. We have brought this same level of commitment and quality to our pressure washer products. Our customer research has led us to engineer our pressure washers from the ground up, to meet your specific demands. Generac manufactures the widest range of power products in the marketplace including portable, RV, residential, commercial and industrial generators. Generac also operates three large factories which employs thousands of workers in the American Midwest. Note: This model is not for sale in California/non-CARB compliant.

The first time it was delivered, it had some minor damage, but this was the shippers fault for sure. Amazon promptly shipped out another and picked up the damaged one, so good customer service there. Thanks Amazon!
WHAT I LIKE; Power, its defiantly got more power than my older 2700 PSI as expected. I have to keep it further away when washing things so I don't blow the paint off. The wand is nice, feels solid and balanced in the hand. The machine has a small, taller profile compared to my older 2700 PSI by Generac. This cart is easier to maneuver and store. Its also lighter in weight for sure. The run flat tires are better than the old pneumatic design which required constant inflating. The nozzle tray is pretty standard, but works well. The hose access points are more accessible than my last Generac and the hose hanger is good for the small plastic hose they provide.
WHAT I DON'T LIKE; It should be said that no power washer is "Quiet", but it just seems like Generac products in general are louder than some of the other popular brands, like Honda, but they are also a lot more money than Generac. My old one was loud too, and this one is about the same, maybe a little louder. It would be great if they put a muffler on these things that actually did some good. What they put on there is more of a spark arrestor than a muffler.
The pressure hose connection while located conveniently, are easily cross threaded if you are not careful. I am a Master Plumber and quickly felt like the M22 pressure hose connection addaptor was going to cross thread easily. This is because the male M22 X whatever threads into the actual pressure generating pump is a cheap cast white metal with two semi flat sides so it could be installed by a machine and use one less piece of more expensive brass in production. In my professional opinion, this was a really bad choice on the part of Generac as you will be attaching a hose here pretty much every time you use the machine. So be carful attaching the pressure hose for the first time until you are sure its going on fully and easily.
The oil drain points are obstructed by the framework of the machine, like pretty much all of Generac products I own. You can get at them, but its going to get messy changing the oil and it seems this could be easily fixed/changed.
The upper part of the frame that you grasp to move it around and also has the nozzle holder, is a poor fit into the lower frame female receiver. Its just kinda loose and sloppy and the old style wing nut and bolt Generac used to provide for this made for a more sturdy feel. I doubt it will ever come apart, but it just feels sloppy to me compared to my old model.
The relatively short .25 I.DIA hose with M22 ends that come with the machine, is just that...short. It should be said that this is a common size for residential power washers and many different brands provide a similar length hose, but do yourself a big favor and spend another $100 and buy a 100 foot hose so you don't have to constantly move the machine around and it gets you further rom the noisy motor. Check my other reviews for the hose I bought separately for this machine.
The wand that comes with the machine feels nice in the hand, but the male M22 end is partially obstructed by the orange plastic handle. This means when you purchase a aftermarket hose and/or M22 adaptor, you may not be able to thread it on all the way without having to remove some plastic material from the M22 adaptor so it will thread into the wand snugly. I was able to do this in about 3 minutes with a grinding wheel, then the aftermarket hose connection fully seated and worked great without having to do anything to the wand itself.
Despite the long list of minor complaints, overall I am very happy with the pressure washer and the Generac brand in general. I just wish they would make these few minor improvements and I would give it 5 stars.
The instructions remind you in multiple places never to start without having your water hooked up and turned on, so as long as you follow the setup instructions, it shouldn't be a problem getting the washer working. Mine started on the first pull, which is pretty impressive.
This model of Generac comes with 4 wand tips, ranging from a cleaning solution tip to a 0 degree "blast" tip. I paired mine up with a Karcher T350 surface cleaner (rated at 2650 psi, so use at your own risk), and it worked great cleaning my driveway. It made a normally 2 to 4 hour job a 45 minute job, plus it didn't leave streaks or areas where I missed.
The large wheels and upright orientation make the pressure washer easy to move around, and the placement of the hose connectors made it easy NOT to accidentally get the hose up against the hot engine (a cause of failure in other models). This Generac also comes with a detergent reservoir, although since I didn't use it, I can't say how well it works.
Bottom-line for me: this is an affordable power washer that does the job. It cost me less than what I would have paid a professional, it accepted an inexpensive surface cleaner attachment, and it's powerful enough to get a dirt and moss encrusted driveway clean. I can't speak to long-term reliability, but I will update if there are any significant changes in performance.
