From the Back Cover
An in-depth guide to complying with the EU GDPR.
EU GDPR An Implementation and Compliance Guide is a clear and comprehensive guide to this new data protection law, providing a detailed commentary on the Regulation, and setting out the obligations of data processors and controllers in clear and comprehensible terms.
Read this book to learn:
- Where the GDPRs requirements differ from those of the 1995 EU Data Protection Directive (DPD).
- How the Regulation relates to your organisation.
- How to adjust your data protection processes to transition to GDPR compliance.
- The best way of demonstrating compliance.
- How to avoid effective, proportionate and dissuasive fines.
All organisations wherever they are in the world that process the personally identifiable information (PII) of EU residents must comply with the Regulation. Failure to do so could cost them up to 20 million, or 4% of annual global turnover in fines.
The GDPR will have a significant impact on data protection regimes around the world. EU GDPR An implementation and Compliance Manual shows you exactly what you need to do to comply with the new law.

The book high profiles the authors, a leading global provider of IT governance .. and they even write that "Every possible effort has been made to ensure that the information contained in this book is accurate at the time of going to press".
The VERY first sentence is wrong. "Due to be enforced from March 2018" ... However, everyone will know, if anything of these regualations, that they are enforced by May 25, 2018.
And the authors continues in the same line with several inaccuracies . I read about 30 pages and found 4 inaccuracies . errors which potentially can cause serious damage to your company due to misguidance.
