If you need this size, buy the General and not another cheaper brand.
I prefer the solid heft - and quality workmanship - and even the weight of the General tap handles.
I assumed when I bought it that "No 0 - 1/4" meant it could hold a bit of basically 0 width, but in reality the notches prevent holding anything smaller than 2 millimetres wide. I'm guessing "No 0" refers to a bit of about 2mm because I'm using the tap wrench with a "No 1" screw extractor that's about 2.4mm. It holds the screw extractor well.
If you need to use this tool often you should probably spring for the ratcheting version of this tap wrench, but for occasional use this model is a great choice.

This is a decent set of tap wrenches for the price. Very glad I bought them.Published 5 days ago by William M.

These are the only tap wrenches I'll ever need as a machinist. I've used others but they wear and I've never had a problem with these tap wrenchesPublished 5 months ago by Matt Fearby
Came quickly, but the taps were in plastic, oil filled bags and when I took them out they had pretty rough scratches all over them. But they work fine. Read morePublished 9 months ago by Kody
Nice tool but only has two jaws. I like the four jaws which hold better.Published 10 months ago by Gary
I bought this set 2 1/2 years ago and the large wrench just broke this week. I don't hand tap regularly so these never got a ton of use. Read morePublished 13 months ago by Kevin
