Customers like the angle reading of the tool. For example, they say it's awesome for determining angles where a swing or gravity angle finder won't, and the digital output assures you will be exact. It's decent for larger, non-critical angle finding, and easy to measure and read the actual angle in corners. That said, some say it works fine and really helps with off angles, and is one of the easiest ways to measure angles of the walls and corners.

Customers are mixed about the zeroing of the product. Some mention that it is easy to zero, and can be reset to zero in any position. However, others say that it must be zeroed every time you turn it on, and the self-zeroing feature is not quite right.
"...loses its angle measure as you rotate the blade and you need to zero it before every measure...." Read more

Customers have mixed opinions about the size of the angle finder. Some find it to be not too small and not too big, making it easy to use and measure nicely. They say it's decent for larger, non-critical angle finding, but not so much for smaller objects. However, others say that it'd fit well in any shop, is compact, and easy to operate. However some customers mention that it is too big to be considered a hand tool, and is not accurate for smaller items.
"...This is a very nice digital gauge and it's size is good too - not too small and not too big." Read more

The drawbacks to this tool are that 1) the self-zeroing feature is not quite right, over a degree off, and with mine I have find a nice flat surface to zero it out. Once calibrated, you can work for a while with that setting, but I zeroing it out any time you tuck the blade into the handle or after it’s sat idle for a while.
The other drawback I’ve found is that the nut that holds the blade sometimes unthreads itself in my bags as I’m walking around or working on other things. This isn’t huge deal, as most times all I have to do is dig through my bags to find the pieces and thread it all together again. But I know the day is coming that I will lose one of the pieces and have to get a new one of these gauges or go back to the old-school one while I wait for a new one.
All in all, I’m impressed with this tool. It’s easy to use and can save a lot of time. But the construction of it could use a little refinement. I’m happy with the price at only $20, but I would gladly pay $10 or $20 more for one with a more accurate zeroing feature that also held together better.
