It has a set of hex insert driver bits and a bit holder, in case you don't have enough already, but it's really about the saw.

The mechanism that holds the blade does not do so securely. The blade in mine slips when pulled with two fingers. The handle works solidly enough in the straight position. However, in the pistol position there is enough play in the pivoting joint to make sawing really annoying.
I thought this tool would do the trick, but I'd suggest you look elsewhere.
This saw works wonderfully. The twist lock mechanism that locks the blade in was getting a bit sticky, but I know that i could have used some WD-40 if it got too bad and that would have fixed it up, as there isn't much that WD-40 won't unstick.
I lost track of my original unit on a jobsite just two days ago and feel bereft without it. I won't even buy anything else to use temporarily until this arrives because I haven't seen anything at the local hardware stores that even begin to compare. I'll lug out my recip saw in place of this until the new one arrives.
Definitely worth every penny!
Broke after 18 months. I use this thing about once a week, so not heavily used. After searching around for any other options, I ordered another one as soon as the old one broke. There seems to be no real competition on the market, so I'm not going to lose sleep if I have to replace this once in a while. There are some folding hole saws out there that also use recip saw blades, but if those things break the blade could close on your fingers, which cannot happen with this particular style.
Comes with a very handy belt-mountable case for the handle, the driver-adapter, and all your blades (the case accommodates 6 blades, and the handle uses standard sawzall blades -- I refilled my setup 3 or 4 times before I finally lost the tool -- and immediately bought a replacement!). The quick-change blade-lock makes this tool great for an electrician, cutting holes in drywall, plaster, lathe, baseboard each with different blades, all on the same job -- sometimes all for the same outlet location!
More important than interchangeable blades is that the blade comes off to shrink the length of the tool (some hand-saws don't fold up).

The (low) price makes this useful saw a 5 for me. The saw is functional and versatile (different angles). Product looks durable.
Great that it uses reciprocating saw blades.
Nice multi use set. Very compact and light to throw into the woods/day bag. Has been sueful already to cut PVC pipe.Published on November 17, 2013 by Puffy
