Cool Case

There seems to be some not so good reviews complaining about bad build quality, but honestly, I think this is a pretty good case. I'm not one who abuses their iPhone anyway, and I've never really dropped it in the 14 or so months I've had it. But in terms of protection, I think this case works pretty well. It adds a lot of rubber to the corners of the iPhone, so when you drop it, it pretty much just bounces.

Now, a lot of people complain that there is no slot for the charger. Yes, this means you have to take the case off, or slide it out a little, just to charge it. To me, this is not a problem but a solution. A few weeks ago, I realized that my dock connector wasn't going into the slot all the way. Turns out, it was filled with lint. I used a paperclip and an exacto knife to clean it out. Anyway, this case covers the slot so dust doesn't get in! Great.

Oh and it looks like a cassette tape. It's great.

To make it a little better, I made the "screws" black with a sharpie. And I printed out some graphics to go behind the case to make it looks like it has tape inside it.

Cool design with a few flaws

Very nice design, all my friends got fool when they see it but it has some downsides:

1.It's kinda loose
the surface has good traction so it doesn't slide but it makes it annoying when you get the phone off your pant's pocket. The case often got removed.

2.No hole for charger
you have to lift the bottom end of the case to charge but since the case is already loose it's very easy to lift it off.

3.Bad photo with flash
when you take pictures with flash, the reddish color will show up on the edges of the pictures.

4. Flimsy
doesn't offer much protection if you drop the phone.

I really do like the design plus the price so it's pretty good.

Cheap but effective

I picked this up for my iPhone 4S, since it's fun looking and under $2. No question it's cheap: a floppy piece of plastic that doesn't hug the phone very tightly. The corners tend to slip out at times. It doesn't come with a screen protector either; you'll need to buy that separately. On the other hand, it looks exactly as pictured, the holes are all in the right places, and it grabs people's attention--it's great for getting a smile and a "Where did you get that?" So pick this up if you're looking for something disposable and fun, but not if you want hardcore protection for your phone.

Note: While the description says that it doesn't have a hole for the charging port (and some reviewers have echoed this), the version I received in December 2011 DOES have a hole, which is very convenient.

Let me start by saying I have about 6 cases for my phone, from a bulky Otterbox to a thin plastic case which only covers the back and sides of the phone. I purchased this solely based on the retro factor and the fact it was less than $2 shipped.

Pros:
The price can't be beat. All of the cutouts are in the right places making the volume controls, headphone jack, dock connecter, etc. easily accessible. I have received numerous comments on the "coolness" of the case. At quick glance, everyone really does think it is a cassette tape.

Cons:
The overall fit is a bit loose for my liking. The phone comes out of the case a bit too easy for my liking; otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

NOTE: Many reviewers have left negative feedback citing the fact you must remove the case to access the dock connector even though the product description states the port is covered. While I missed that bit of information when placing my order, mine clearly does not have the issue. See user pics above. I also have not noticed any of the red glare on the photos cited by another reviewer. My case was purchased using "Gamesalor" as the vendor.

this is a really cool looking case and everyone was always doing a double take and asking about it. i got it quite a while ago. 2 things i didnt like though, it stretched out really quickly and there is no hole for the charger! so every time i charged my phone or hooked it up to sync i had to removed the bottom of the case or remove it completely which is prob why it got stretched so fast. but for so cheap it was an ok purchase

The case is wonderful! I bought it after i saw my cousin showing her pink one off the other day. The reason why i gave it 3/5 stars is because my case didn't have the cut out for the iPhone cable at the bottom. I had to manually cut it myself with an exact-o-knife. Another reason is that when i tried taking pictures some of the little rubber cut out was in the way and i had to go in with my exact-o and cut those out as well. Good case but needs a little cleaning up before being sold on here.

I get so many compliments on this iPhone cover. Everyone loves it and my friends have ordered cassette iPhone covers as well because they think it's so cool. It really does look like a real cassette.

The only drawback is that it's really soft plastic, so it pops off easily. It's not clamped on to the phone with a death grip like other cases out there. However, it protects the phone just fine.

This is a very cool case that will get attention. It does fit loose around the phone and getting any silicone case out of your pocket isn't the easiest task. The red really pops and would definitely recommend it as the color to get. I had to cut out the area for the power button which was annoying and not as easy as other made it sound. At least not if you want a professional looking cut. Cheap enough, good buy.
