Bought this for my Coby Kyros MID7012-4GB tablet to have it connect to a keyboard that had the standard male usb connector. Worked without a hitch. Very pleased with the vendor, Bargain Cable. Decent build quality for under $2.00.

Update 2/12/12:
I'm still learning how to use my Coby Kyros tablet and discovered I can read usb card readers/adapters (my cellphone's microSD card) and also usb flash drives. I plugged the usb reader or flash drive into this Female/Male adapter and used the tablet's ES File Explorer app.

Under "Local," look for a folder labeled "scsi.sd-1" - the files will be inside. I was able to view pdf files, photos and videos (with the Android apps I downloaded previously). Now I'll be able to preview photos during my travels on the Coby tablet. To make sure I don't corrupt the flash drives or external SD cards, I power off my Coby before I remove the flash drive or external memory card.

This is great stuff.

This is what it says but it's the old mini usb and does not fit my kindle fire which is the new style mini usb.
I will not send it back because it was relatively inexpensive as is the one I need which I already ordered.

Bought this to link the PANDIGITAL-Novel with the keyboard case it was matched with. Keyboard was USB but PANDIGITAL has mini USB. Amazon really should have bundled the adapter with the Tablet & case pairing.

I did have some interaction with the supplier, they were great.

I bought this adapter so I can connect my android tablet/reader to a keyboard case. It fits perfectly and will allow me to use a larger keyboard instead of the virtual keyboard on the tablet. Great item and the oost could not be better.

They are just sending out their techno trash so it doesn't have to go into their own landfill. I needed this part for my mini solar charger. I ordered the USB A Female to Mini USB B 5 Pin Male Adapter, they arrived, I tested them (Yes I had already verified the solar charger worked, perfectly), they didn't work, I contacted the company via amazon, they said they would send me new working adapters. So where are they months and months and months later? Who knows, I never received them, nor a refund. DON'T ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE, THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND SEND YOU TRASH!

I got the usb A female to mini usb B 5 pin male adapter for a friend of mine who wanted to use it with his zeki tablet. He tested the adapter three different ways. First, he connected the adapter to the zeki tablet then plugged a usb-keyboard into the adapter; it worked fine. Second, he tested a usb-mouse in the same way he tested the usb-keyboard earlier, and that worked as well. The last thing he tried was plugging the mouse into the keyboard, the keyboard into the adapter (which was connected to the zeki), thus creating a chain. The keyboard and the mouse worked fine and since then he's been using both (like a chain) with the tablet. It's been a month now and everything is still working good for him. As far as delivery is concerned, Crazy-Store gave me an estimated delivery date of 4-6 weeks. However, I received it within 2 weeks from the time I ordered it. It was quite a pleasant surprise since I was a little worried knowing my purchase was coming from another country; I was anticipating problems but Crazy-Store put my worries to rest very quickly.
