Always buy the plus version with the pass thru. I bought the original version without it and although they let you use all your power strip or wall outlets you use up an outlet just for a wart which draws almost no power in most cases. This way you plug in the wart and still have a usefull outlet.
The inventors deserve all they make off of these. Kudos
Be advised that these units are for LIGHT DUTY ONLY, and must not be used to connect motorized appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, room air conditioners, or any equipment that will draw more than 7.5 amps.
I was able to use 3 Power Strip Liberators to hook up 3 of those bulky transformers while leaving several sockets of the surge protector available for my computer and it's other peripherals.
A low-cost solution to the problem of clutter and congestion, I highly recommend this product.
The low price and speedy delivery are bonus features that make this product an excellent value !!
UPDATE: 10 February, 2011 --
2 years later, and my 3 Power Strip Liberators are still in daily use and working perfectly.
Thanks, Amazon !!

Now I can use one power strip instead of two. Perfect. Shipped quickly too. No more trying to force plugs to fit too snugly.Published on April 25, 2013 by Donald L. Pirl Jr.
This works perfectly for fitting big adapters onto power strips. It is also useful when I need a very short extension cord. I also like the flat plug version of this product.Published on December 10, 2012 by trlamb
These are perfect if you want a little more flexibility at an outlet without adding a power strip or a bulky plugin.Published on October 16, 2012 by D. Bohls
Good quality but do not use often. Actually, I would use it more if it was about 18 inches longer. I normally use a dropcord having a ground.Published on December 7, 2010 by Gene D
Pretty basic, but very easy to get a few more outlets for a home office.Published on July 31, 2010 by MJohn
I use it to obviously clear some clutter around the outlet without actually losing the outlet or having to use a larger powerstrip. Good product. Read morePublished on May 12, 2010 by R. Olson
