This a complete GPS engine module that features super sensitivity, Ultra low power and small form factor. Great product, buy one!
Settings are 9600, 0 parity, others as DEFAULT, select the USB port with the drop down in CONNECTIONS.
Be sure it has a clear 'view' of the sky (no obstructions)
Plug-in the GPS AFTER openCPN starts, then connections need to be set each reboot(on my Surface 3, Win10, powered USB 3.0 expansion port)
