About the Author
Young adult book author Christina Benjamin grew up in the small town of La Plume, PA, where at an early age her playful imagination lent itself to love the art of story telling. She began to write short stories in grade school and continued practicing her craft all the way through college where she attended the University of Central Florida to complete her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Technical Writing. After spending some time writing for blogs and websites, she was inspired to get back to her true love of telling stories, and dove head first into The Geneva Project, her first novel. Christina now lives in Florida with her husband, dog and cats, and spends her free time writing The Geneva Project series.

This story was absolutely adorable. It made me fall more in love with Remi. It is just another reason why he is my favorite. It made my heart swell reading about them as young children before their lives changed. You get to see the innocence in both characters. It is a wonderful read if you enjoy the series.
I received a advanced copy in exchange for a honest review.
The novella centers around Remy and Geneva when they were kids. It sort of has a Gift of the Magi spin to it, because both kids want to get the other a Christmas gift. There's also a mysterious magical compass involved that's got me insanely curious.
It's a very short and lighthearted read, a must have for fans of the Geneva Project!
I haven't read the other books in this series YET, but reading this prequel has definitely peaked my interest..
As far as Christmas stories go, this one is a reminder of what Christmas and the Christmas Spirit is really all about.. Great characters and for a quick read I wasn't left disappointed by the length of it.
I received an ARC for review @Paranormal, Magic and Mischief Blog.

A short story about Remi and Geneva. This is a sweet little Christmas that reminds me of the Gift of the Magi by O. Henry. A reminder of what is important in life and the power of friendship. It also reminds us that it is ok to dream. This is a nice little side story for the Geneva Series.
