Genko Tano is a graduate of Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, Iowa. Since college, he has been drawn to study and research clinical nutrition. He had a private chiropractic practice in San Diego, California for twelve years before starting his work with professional athletes. While working with pro-athletes in baseball, wrestling, running, mixed martial arts and tennis, he used his extensive knowledge of biochemistry, kinesiology and nutrition to help them reach their highest potential while limiting the injuries and sport stresses on their body. He co-authored his first book, Eater's Quest: A Nutritional Guide to Life Long Health and Wellness, with his wife, Maxine Tano.
