At Christmastime I was looking for last minute stuffers and came across this game at a local dime store and thought it would be good for my 10 yr. old. I had no idea it would be such a hit! My 13 yr old will actually join in on family game night! It is so much fun! My 5 yr, old is learning to spell. She just asks us to double check her spelling and off she goes. My kids friends have played and now I am trying to find it for birthday gifts. They all want it and I can't find it! My whole family highly recommends the game and what a find it was!

A friend introduced me to this game and I loved it. Now whenever I teach friends the game they want to know where they can get it. Unfortunately it is not easy to find. But for the price, it is a lot of entertainment. I keep a deck in my purse, and play with my friends whenever we get a chance. Our 12 yr old neighbor comes over and asks to play.

The game is played like gin rummy. You have 3 "suits" (colors) of cards with letters on them and you try to arrange your hand into words. The harder the letter is to use, the more points you get for it. You are usually forming 3-4 letter words, so it's not too hard for the kids. You can't throw out "nonsense" stuff (like you can in Scrabble) because you have to give the definition of the word as well. My only complaint is that the cards seem to have an odd finish to them that makes them a little hard to shuffle. This doesn't seem to improve with time, as mine have been shuffled ALOT. But that's pretty trifling, compared to the enjoyment we get from it.

This is a fantastic family game. (Helps kids with spelling too, but it's fun for adults as well). I'm not sure why it hasn't taken off like some of the other card games out there. We would miss this game if we didn't have it anymore. I hope it becomes more popular so It will be more widely available in the future.

although the look of this game had changed a little since the first we bought 10 years ago, the concept is the same - basically, playing gin rummy style cards using words in stead of numbers. My husband and I still enjoy a quick game now and then even though the kids are gone.

This game is like Uno with brains! I originally acquired this for my students with limited reading ability, but have found that everyone, including my gifted eighth graders, love playing this game. It is fast paced and fun! Since you can make any word that is three or more letters, the game is never the same twice. Anyone who can read three letter words can play, so this game would be perfect for families with children whose ages vary greatly.

This is the best game any person could have for family night. It combines scrabble with rummy. It help teach my children how to spell words properly and get their brains to think.

This is my family's favorite game. We have had so much fun playing it many Sunday afternoons. It's both fun and educational and can be played by young and old alike. I came across this game many years ago by accident and am so glad I did. You'll get your money's worth out of this card game.
