OEM bags, very handy

We like our recent-model vacuum cleaner from Sears / Kenmore, it cleans well, does not put dust or allergens back into the air, reasonably maneuverable, but with most (or all?) Sears stores closing, it's between tough and impossible to find replacement bags. Fortunately, there is Amazon and it's suppliers. This is a Kenmore OEM replacement and works fine. I would've given 5-starts but the newer Kenmores had shorter bodies and less space for bags, so this has to be crumpled up a bit, might limit its actual capacity before becoming filled and affecting airflow / suction, so a bag that had same filtering rating but fit without folding it up into small space would've been better, and when we first got the machine I did find some Kenmore bags like that, but now they sell the "one size fits all" thing, meaning it works but compromised a bit. Sure beats having no bags by a substantial margin, 'tho.

I am so pleased with the results using these bags in my Sears Progressive True Hepa vacuum. The last bags I bought (another brand) are going straight to the trash bin because they left fine dust all in my vacuum and in the air. I detected the difference immediately when I changed to these bags. The air was fresher and my vacuum was cleaner. The dirt and dust went exactly where it was supposed to, in the bag, where it stays. At a little over $16 for 6 bags, I believe the price is less than it was when I bought the vacuum. Yeah!!

You will have to disregard the product review I wrote earlier (please). It looks like I put some old sweeper bags in the Q/C package when those were gone (for a smaller sweeper we have) and did not find the correct sweeper bags which I ordered in May until a few minutes ago. So I placed a different bag in the Q/C bag and tried to use it x2 in the Kenmore. The Kenmore bags work great.

For years, I have been using Kenmore brand Canister HEPA vacuum bags for my Kenmore HEPA vacuum cleaner - pet version. When you see the bag, you think it is too big, but it works. Sucks up litter, pet hair, dust, and dirt easily. Very easy to change. I gave it only 4 stars because it does not have a tab you can pull closed over the hole to keep the dust from getting airborne while you change the bag. Have a grocery store bag ready when you change the bag. Pull the vac bag out of the vacuum cleaner, put it carefully in the grocery store bag, and tie the grocery bag closed so that if you put pressure on the bag, it won't release dust into the air or in your trash can.

Not Same Size As Original Kenmore Q Bag

This bag is 15.51"L x 9.37"W. The original Kenmore Q bag is 14 7/8" L and 14 5/8" W.

I had to fold the original bags over a little to fit in my Kenmore Canister Vacuum Model 116.25915. It's 15 years old and may not last through these 6 bags.

I have not used the new bags yet (still have a spare of the original I bought from Amazon a while ago), but based on size they will hold less volume than the original Q bags. So I am rating the product a 3 for now. Hopefully they will work.

I was lead to believe (by the Kenmore site) that these bags would fit my new Kenmore Pet-Friendly Pop n Go vacuum (model BC 4027) but they do not.

However these bags do fit: 9 Replacement Hepa Bags Compatible with Sears Kenmore Type C & Q, 5055, 50557, 50558, 53292, 53291, Panasonic C-5 HEPA Canister Vacuum Bags (on Amazon but I can't make a hyperlink).

never broke or leaked as the bag filled up. I had used this
