This is one of the best gold foil out there. I have used different brand but this one doesn’t bleed. I use it for my clay jewelry and some other brands make my clay bleed orange. This one keeps its natural color. Love it

This was the first time I’ve ever used any kind of leafing. I’ve had gold leaf in my craft bin forever but what I was making I needed silver. This was really fun to use. I used it for lettering and there is a learning curve the first time, but I can’t wait to use it again. I’d buy this brand again no problem.

I have an Ibanez Jem and the pick guards are all the same. I wanted something unique and custom guards cost a fortune. So, I got this Variegated Gold Leaf and used it to cover / coat the plain white pick guard on my guitar. These sheets are SUPER thin and come apart very easy so you have to be gentle. There are plenty of sheets in one pack to do this, so much so, I did the truss rod cover, the tremolo cover and input cavity cover on the back. There are some tricks to it! You have to sand the pick guard and covers to scratch them (lightly) to give the leaf something to grip into and not slide around. Get the - Scotch 3M Super 77 Multi-Purpose Adhesive, 4.37-Ounce, Clear - spray it on conservatively, let it dry enough so when you touch it, it feels sticky. Lay the leaf sheets all over the pieces you are covering and then with a damp, smooth cloth GENTLY rub the leaf into the glue. If you rub the leaf to hard, it WILL tear. Let it dry for about 2 days until it does not feel mushy. Then, before you knock off the excess leaf, coat it with - Krylon K01303007 Acrylic Spray Paint Crystal Clear in 11-Ounce Aerosol - . Let that fry for a day. Then gently, with your index finger, simply rub the edges of the leaf that are hanging over the edges of the pieces you covered. This is not as easy as it sounds. A friend of mine tried it and tore the leaf after the glue dried, it was almost disastrous. We just started the whole process over again. Have fun and look for other colors of leaf, there are tons on here.

I used this on my clay lady head. It turned out perfectly. It was time consuming for all the niches that are displayed on her head. It is starting to create that aging look which is one thing l like about copper. Great product

I've limited experience with gilding but have tried a few different brands or suppliers, and these stood out from the others I've used.
It was packaged neatly, evenly, and in a precise uniform size. It didn't hold any static charge, making it unpredictable to apply. Even as a beginner, I was able to get a beautifully smooth, even application.
It's very noticeably aluminum in my opinion but I used a glaze to achieve a much more silver appearance.
Overall, it was a pleasure to use, especially compared to other experiences I've had!

Mi è piaciuto tutto! Dall’eleganza della confezione ai dettagli con cui vengono forniti (foglietti separatori e guanti in cotone). Il prodotto poi ha un effetto pazzesco. Senza considerare che i fogli sono leggermente più spessi del solito e dunque non si spezzano solo a guardarli, ma si riesce a sollevarli. Un po’ cari, ma sono veramente belli.
