Similar to what I was issued in the army but better! Extra material on elbows and chest pocket etc. take it to another level. This bad boy is half again heavier than my issue sweater. It is therefore quite toasty... with German tags and flags. Appears to be new.

Bought this for my 14 year old son who absolutely loves it. It's very well made and very warm. Looks great. Just remember that it's wool, so it can be kinda scratchy around the neck. I gave him a mock turtleneck to wear with it and that works great.

So I must say, the fit is interesting to say the least, the arms seemed a little bit oddly long, and I realize it's a military sweater so the Torso is supposed to be long but around the midriff section it is very tight and form-fitting, which might be the style that is supposed to be, and I like it, but it might not be for everyone, most people might want to try a size up, I assume they have returns like most products in Amazon so I would get true to size and then size up if necessary, but I'm very happy with the quality it seems super warm the elbow pads are great and stylish the pocket is very nice and seems sturdy. Highly recommend!
