Good for slurry tech for mycology

These are suitable for mycology using the slurry Tech. They attach well to a regular mouth Mason jar. I recommend not using the seal however, its thickness makes it hard to tighten the lid

Great blades. They will eat just about anything you drop in the blender. We have a 600 watt Oster beehive blender (had it for years about $45.00 from Target when purchased ) that we use for everything and have worn out several sets of these blades but they very well for the use and abuse we give them. Note: if you are spending $300.00-$400.00 for a fancy machine you are wasting your money.

Have a honey-bee blender which started leaking from the bottom area. First thought it was the seal, but determined by viewing the underside that the leak was coming from the shaft of the blade. Looked a long while for an OEM and finally found this on Amazon for a decent price. Only wish I could have gotten one at a decent price, but at least I will have a spare or might sell the extra one on another market. This blade and new seal works like a champ.

The ones I got were genuine oster with the engraved name logo on blad and in original box. Noticed right away on opening box that the gaskets had a very strong smell--maybe that would have went away with time if I had used them however the blades were not the same as my blender has and so I returned.

Our OSTER blender was still good but the bottom of the blade had worn out, instead of me buying a new blender I just replaced the blade piece. OSTER motors last so if the base works just replace the rest.

Tried cheaper brands but they did not last long. The internal shaft on less expensive brands fails. The blades begin to wobble and make the blender sound crazy! The blades that Oster make hold up much better, much stronger. So, do yourself a favor buy Oster brand, you'll get what you pay for.
