Made of a tough, flexible, lightweight material, the cargo tray is uniquely designed to fit your Highlander allowing you to carry all types of cargo without worrying about soiling the inside of the vehicle. The cargo tray features a molded Highlander logo, skid resistant surface, and perimeter lip to help contain spills.

Cons (highest to lowest):
1.) The mat does not stay attached to the back of the seat with the two provided circular Velcro holders.
2.) To the left of the mat as you are facing the back, the mat lifts up a bit within the contoured area (hump on left). The mat is flat, and that is why.
3.) Stuff can leak through the mat's crevices onto the surface below
4.) When folding seats back into seating position, nothing can be in the cargo area as it may interfere.
1.) Easy to clean up
2.) Durable material (not cheap like others indicated)
3.) Protects majority of cargo area.
4.) Great for pets (easier to remove hair compared to no mat at all).
5.) Like the split mat feature so I can utilize my rear seats individually (just need to improve upon the attachment portion).
The most annoying thing to me is the mat not adhering to the rear seat back at all times. I have added new Velcro attachments, but they just don't work. I am going to try a couple other options, like possibly drilling a small hole in the seat back and insert a grommet within the mat and utilize a plastic push pin (body hardware) connector. No proven solutions at present.
What I like about this mat is the fact that (1) it is rubber, hence will not get soaked with wet equipment, and (2) it does fold up "automatically" and stays in place when putting up the 3rd row. For those who don't like the black rubber look, if you search hard enough you will find a mat made of carpet that also folds up just like this one, I believe dealerships in the southern US have it. But I wanted the rubber look!
The mat is light in weight--i.e. it is not a heavy, flexible rubber like a winter floor mat. It is all rolled up when you get it, and will take a couple of weeks to stay flat on your cargo floor. Once it stays flat, it looks very nice, and does have some grip so things don't roll around too much. I really like how it folds up nicely when you put up the 3rd row, that's a winner right there for me.
Why a star off? Well, that cut-out for the safety label is silly. The carpet version of this mat does not have it, if I recall. As well, you really have to position the velcro correctly so the cutouts in the mat don't interfere with the seats pulling back, and I always feel like I'm ripping out the factory carpet when adjusting and readjusting the velcro. But once it's adjusted, you should be good. You could also just buy more velcro and stick more of it on the back of the mat so it really stays in place.
Right now I'm just waiting for it to flatten down (because packaging thought it was a good idea to roll it up in a cylinder shape to save on shipping!!!!) and see how it holds up to my wife and kids!!!
I expected a solid piece, and it is split down the center - thereby making it possible for you to lift the 3rd row seats (WHICH BTW I NEVER USE(!) and consider a TOTAL waste of money/weight to haul around).
The split makes the carpeting susceptibile to dirt and "wet" items messing up the carpet.
So don't buy this if you want TOTAL coverage. Otherwise, the quality of the liner is of a good weight, and has, so far, provided a slip free area to store "stuff" (except for the window washer stuff....it just rockets around back there!). I just put another mat underneath to keep the carpet clean.
