Also bought these for our younger son to wear to church. Only had gotten 1 pair at first. He wore them almost every weekend. Well the side seam near the pocket undid but that's understandable with all of the wear and washings. So I just recently bought him 3 more pairs to alternate.
Now need to get hubby some.
I do like these hidden stretch waists. However, this one seems small in circumference. I'm really a 35 waist but I buy 36 because they are easier to find. This 36 feels tight around me. Now, it can stretch quite a bit, but I would have thought that if you were the actual size indicated, that wouldn't be necessary.
These pants are baggier than they need to be in the legs. I like them a little more slim fit.
Overall there's nothing really wrong with these pants but they don't compare with the Stafford brand pants I bought the same day from JC Penney for much less--the Staffords are better materials, workmanship, and cut. I guess I have a bit of buyer's remorse. Not worth returning but I'm glad I only bought one pair.
Second which I find most annoying is the following... I always place the wallet on the back pocket. The back pocket is usually sturdy enough that it will hold its position, with these pants, if the back pocket has any weight it will go toward the middle.. It is uncomfortable to say the least. Will probably need to stitch the pocket in place so it does not move around.
