Geometry I (Universitext) Print on Demand (Paperback) – January 1, 2009

3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars 6 ratings

Volume I of this 2-volume textbook provides a lively and readable presentation of large parts of classical geometry. For each topic the author presents an esthetically pleasing and easily stated theorem - although the proof may be difficult and concealed. The mathematical text is illustrated with figures, open problems and references to modern literature, providing a unified reference to geometry in the full breadth of its subfields and ramifications.

Very interesting. I found it quite challenging though, not recommended if you are just looking for support to your class notes (for university students coursing a first year in Geometry)

The low rating goes to Springer/Amazon's digitizing/printing. It is noticable that the book is print from scanning. The edges of letters are uneven, giving unpleasant reading experience.
