I'm a musician and have been in the field for over 12 years. One complain I always had are cables. You could never get proper cables and they always look to crap out when you go live and have a gig, which is very embarrassing needless to say. I hate the cracking sound you get when you twiggle the cable and it broken or slack.

I bought 2 of these 20' George L cables - one from my guitar to pedalboard and the other from pedalboard to house board/mixer.

The cable itself has a solid coating which really protects the cable. The 1/4 connector is sturdy and has a way of 'snapping' in when you jack it into your guitar. Don't forget crappy connection is two fold - you need a good cable AND you need to make sure the jacks on your guitar, keyboard, etc are good also.

I get absolutely no noise (hiss, etc) from these cables. I recommend these...

This is not my first George L cable. I've been using them for a couple of years now and they are better than any other guitar/amp cable that I've ever used. I have never tried any in the $100 to $150 range and at the reasonable price of the George Ls, I don't intend to. I plan on buying only these cables from now on. They sound that good.

I've been playing live punk music for 10 years and hate (HATE!) how the vast majority of cables wear-out quickly. I jump around, beat my guitar up, and swing/thrash around with the cable. This stuff works to worry the interior of the cable quickly. You end up with a popping and crackling sound when you move. It is super annoying. Repairing is a waste of time, just toss them. Once fixed the cable will never take the stress of my sort of playing ever again. After a couple of gigs or a really rough one, they are trash.

Since, buying a couple of pre-made George L's (one 15' and one 20') five years ago, I'll never go back to those "life-time warranty" ones. They cost more, but if I can't bust 'em, neither can you!

This cable is light weight and doesn't tug on your guitar or jacks too much, but still seems durable. It also behaves well - I don't find myself fighting with kinks, awkward twists, etc. - while heavier cables have been a distraction in this regard, George L's just works and goes unnoticed. The cable is also easy to wrap - If I'm close to my amp and don't need all 20', it coils up neatly and out of the way. So far I'm really loving this thing.
