Georgia Girl (A Southern Series Book 2) by Angela March
 ==One Reviewer said==
Just as the first book, Meet Virginia, I am totally captivated by Angela March's Southern Series. Old wounds heal, but leave ugly scars, resentments, and a sense of self consciousness, Virginia Costello is far from healed but it seems that she keeps peeling scabs off old wounds not allowing herself to heal completely. I did the "Ugly Cry" with Georgia Girl. The hurt, the deception, the betrayal, and most of all, the confusion, was just all on the RIGHT SIDE of too much!! I'm anxiously waiting to see the outcome of what Virginia makes of all the lives that hang in the balance, Eli, Liezel, Agnes, and my absolute favorite JEREMIAH JAMES BOONESFIELD, "Boone". Great job once more Angela, I'm absolutely looking forward to reading the conclusion of "A Southern Series", as well as many, many more, of your books to come!!

I 100% was in love with the writing style of Angela and the story continued on from Meeting Virginia perfectly. We get to see so much more of what makes Virginia her and how her life works itself out, by no means is book 2 all butterflies and fairytales! But there is some very HOT parts and then there were parts I was left screaming at my kindle saying WTF are you doing. (as if she could hear me) One thing is for sure you aren't waiting your money or time reading this book!!

Virginia Costello’s story continues. Well the first chapter had me. Virginia is trying to acclimate to being home. She arrives home a little drunk and happy in the rain. There is someone on her porch in the shadows, OMG Im scared. She is not on her game cause of the rain and the Jack Daniels, wait no her new drink is Mandarin Absolute with Sprite!absolut mandarin

Now the shadow guess who??

Eli

NO

guess again...who????

Boone YES he is tired from driving almost 12 hours to get to her. He didnt know her exact address so he used him memories of the places she talked about and loved to figure it out.

HOLY F wrap him up in a large aqua box with a ribbon and the silver Tiffany letters on it and send his ass to me!

BIG things happen here. When I say big I mean BIG, Jasper is with Ian next door. The perfect couple, right, YES. You know what I love about Jasper? Everything! He is closed mouthed. When Virginia is struggling with Liezel and still wondering what bee got into her bonnet, Jasper doesnt say a word. Jasper lets her figure it out for herself,. I loved how the author does that. While normally I would get mad, here I was happy. He didnt burst her bubble with the gossip and lies, he let her figure it out so he is coming clean too.

The Eli saga continues. The Liezel saga continues and we get the answers. In order of the most surprising reveal my list is as follows:

the-Winner-Is.Boone

Liezel

The Jasper & Ian truth

Agatha and Harry

and lastly Eli, the person I want to drop off the face of Antarctica into an iceberg and get eaten by a penguin...ELI chomp chomp

And the saga continues with another 5-star read from Angela!! After finishing up her obligation in Virginia and the vendetta of a rejected former lover and his friend Virginia returned to Georgia. Her home with the ‘family’ that accepts her for her. Remember that movie or saying “home is where the heart is” well that true and it’s true for Virginia too. Her family and Georgia are her home, and that is where her heart is. Only, Virginia doesn’t realize she left apart of her heart in Virginia and boy it was a confusing and huge part of her heart. But that piece of her heart doesn’t stay gone for long and her heart followed until it could be whole again. But will the reconnection last and end?
I fell in love with love and the idea that a heart, your heart can find a home; because home is where the heart is. But it pained me that Virginia’s need to protect herself from pain caused her to overlook what was best for her and where the other half of her heart was. The way Virginia works she was either ‘fight or flight’ and many times she chose to flee instead of staying to fight. She chooses to listen to her mind instead of her heart.
In this book you get an inside look of Virginia outside of the familiar family struggles. You see her friendships, her loving side, and how she copes with changes and obstacles; not only how she copes, but how she overcomes them and grows more as an individual.

4.5 Amazing Boone Stars!

I miss the closeness of those moments of having her spread out before me. Being inside of her knowing she is all mine at that moment. Now if I can find a way to get in to her heart, will be the biggest challenge. A challenge I am ready for and willing to fight for.

I absolutely loved this bookThis book continues right where Meet Virginia leaves off. As soon as Virginia gets home from a visit with her family, she has an Amazing, Sexy, Hot and oh so Charming surprise on her door step. Hmmm, Jeremiah James Boonesfield "Boone". If you haven't figured it out by now, unlike Virginia, I have absolutely fallen for Boone. He is one of those characters you can't help but love. He is always there Virginia. Not matter the situation. He is continually showing Virginia that she is worth everything, that she deserves to be loved. But Virginia doesn't know what to think or how to feel about Boone showing up like this, out of the blue. She thought what they had was just a summer fling and that he thought the same, until Boone made the mistake of falling in love with her, when the last thing she wanted was to be in a relationship. Virginia in this book goes through so many ups and downs. She learns so much about her so called friends that your heart will break for her. Secrets are revealed that will completely shock you. The one bright light for Virginia during this unsettling and heartbreaking time, is her best friend Jasper, who I love by the way and of course Boone. Boone is determined to find a way into Virginia's heart. But in the process is basically getting on Virginia's nerves. All she wants is to be left alone and have her space. But with Boone making himself at home, isn't giving her that option.
