Been carrying this now for a couple weeks every day and so far it is holding up. It now opens easily though it was difficult out the gate.Pros:- Came Sharp- Edge is easy to touch up (using a Work Sharp Guided Field Sharpener i keep on the counter)- Does not weird out the folks that get all bent outa shape by "tacticool" blades- Fits well in hand (XL glove sized hands)- Stout blade. I never feel like it isn't strong enough for anything i do with itCons:- Heavy for its size, you feel it in your pocket- Edge geometry is an odd choice. Fairly low saber grind means it doesn't slice well through things like apple usually more refined EDC non-tactical knives have thinner blades with either flat grinds or less pronounced shoulders on the grind.- Lock is hard to get to if you have big thumbs and does take effort to unlock to close the knife.- Blade has drifted and is no longer centered. Not to bad but out of box it was well centered.
Excellent build, well thought out. Knife is stout, with a very thick (and secure) liner lock. I'm a frame lock user and usually avoid liner locks having had a couple release on me from BM, but this one is solid with a lot of tension. That said, you'll get a strong thumb from releasing the blade - worth it for the security. Thumb stud/perch kind of takes away from the aesthetics when open but when closed, looks nice and functions well. Blade shape is great. Saber grind makes for a stronger spine and compliments the utility of this knife. Alignment is perfect and the steel is very good for a knife that is less than $30. Pocket clip is nice and deep. Typical factory edge, which you should remove on any knife anyway to suit you cutting angle preference.
This is a great buy, period. Customer comments regarding deployment trouble, out of box sharpness etc should be scrutinized. There is very little room for improvement here. Would love to see this same design in a frame lock.
I wouldn't recommend this knife to someone expecting a svelte edc that has roller bearings and boutique steel. This knife is user that you shouldn't be afraid to beat up and use as a tool - this knife will be bored opening envelopes, bags of chips or cutting hang tags off clothing and breaking down boxes.
- simple sleek profile that makes it nice to not snag on your clothes or scratch things up in your pockets - tight tolerances out of the box, it is a little hard to open initially but this good over time as it keeps the blade secure and sturdy
Cons: - it is a bit heavy. does give it sturdiness but may not be best for daily use depending on your situation - larger than expected and because of the weight is probably best for jeans. If you wear a lot of chinos or dress pants this may be too heavy/bulky - Handle can feel too smooth at times if you have just washed your hands or used lotion, may cause knife to slip
Beautiful looking knife. I think it actually looks nicer closed than open. Smooth lines, solid feel, great for a slightly fancier occasion rather than EDC. Super sharp out of the box with a pretty decent grind. Despite being aluminium, it feels pretty heavy (if used to glass filled nylon or G10 handles etc), but not really an issue as I assume most people wouldn't being using this for a minimum weight EDC; has a nice solid feel. It is a little bit stiff to open one handed, but will probably ease up with use.
All round a great little knife, looks super cool, sharp and an excellent price.
Very nice, elegant knife. I removed the belt clip and it came apart easy. Blade was sharp on mine when it arrived, a little stiff for single handed opening to start but loosened up nicely. It's heavier than you'd expect (mine was the aluminum version) but I kinda like the heft. All in all it'll make a great daily carry knife.
Pros: Looks excellent. Good length for edc. It's a bit stiff at first, but I can flick it open easily, close it one handed, and it breaks in nicely. Rewarding clunk to flick open. Brass washers inside. Gray aluminum scales are beautiful. Thumb stud has aggressive texture. The deep carry clip allows it to completely disappear in the pocket (except for the clip). That and the simple good looks makes this a very non-offensive blade.
Cons: Blade isnt perfectly centered or that sharp. 7cr17mov steel is pretty bad anyways. The logo on the pocket clip is a little off-center. The blade has a few marks. No jimping and overall, minimal grip, making this pretty slick in the hand. Heavy for size and could of been lighter if they skeletonized the steel liners. Little clunky.
Overall, it's a handsome, minimalist knife for $30. A few small improvements could of made it better, but I like it. Buy this knife for the looks and keep your expectations in check with performance. Buy a different knife for your main edc, like a steel will or rat1. This is just an occasional carry for me because it looks good and is functional enough.

By far the best looking knife I have. The style is super clean and feels great in the hand. Perfect weight and balance. Wish there was a little more room to flick the blade open and press the liner lock. Month later... This knife is holding up very well. I've literally hammered it like a chisel and used it as a hammer too. Dinged up the aluminum body but sanded down just fine. Sanded the thumb flick area a little to get a better grip when opening. Worked great. So far this knife is amazing. Will get another so I have a nice one. 2 months later... skew fell out and lost! Would recommend taking apart and using Loctite at first. Still awesome though.

It appear the aluminium handle cannot survive the most minor contact. My knife arrived, in the box, with seven dings in the surface. I have no idea how these blemishes occurred but the knife is less than perfect. Each ding is a rough point that snags on fabrics. The knife is very wide, which was not evident on the ad. It is bulky.
Looks good on the outside, the bad and ugly is inside. Unfinished and too thick liner make for an overly heavy knife. It's difficult to open and even harder to close. You can mod it to make it better. It was delivered fairly sharp.
