GermBana Scarfs are made from Fibrant, the revolutionary fabric infused with an all-natural agent that kills germs on contact, including MRSA. Fibrant incorporates an advanced moisture management system to keep you cool, dry and odor free. The Scarf is designed to be worn around the neck and used to kill germs when you cough or sneeze into it, rather than your arm where germs can live up to 48 hours. The pockets hold tissue or hand sanitizer, and can double as mittens when you have to touch germ-infested surfaces. The Scarf can be wrapped around your neck and pulled up over your nose and mouth when you need added protection from germs or are sick and want to keep your germs away from others. The Scarf keeps its anti-backterial properties wash after wash. You will love the feel of Fibrant next to your skin, soft and breathable. The Scarf comes in black and khaki color tones, one size fits all.

I got a black 'scarf' and a 'tan' scarf. Both colors are fine and survived the first washing. They seem to collect 'fuzzies' when wet, but when dry they don't seem to. I like the length of the scarf. It keeps my neck relatively warm, as a normal scarf should. I both like and dislike the pockets. They seem odd when you look at them, and I don't like standing out in an airport/anytime I travel. I really think they need to add a bit of velcro on the pockets such that the pocket can keep itself shut, yet can easily be pried apart with one hand. I will probably modify them and sew the velcro on myself. On the other hand, the pockets are genius at the same time; they let you handle things that you would definitely not like to touch. I often think of door handles, especially bathroom door handles. The reason for the 1 star 'deduction' is because the scarf dimensions: As stated, the length is relatively fine and allows me to wrap it around my neck about twice. I don't mind how thin the material is, because it allows it to be used in both cold and hot climates and I have traveled/lived in both extremes many times. However, the width of the scarf leaves much to be desired. It is hard to keep the entire neck covered unless you do wrap it around your neck twice... it would actually do better with a third wrap, but I basically run out of length. Also, in order to use the Germbana as a breathing filter, which is one of the major reasons I purchased it, it is fairly difficult to accomplish.Read more ›
