Not all of the exercises in the book can be done while sitting, but most of them can - even a modified version of sit-ups, which is much easier on my back than sit-ups are!
It was worth paying a little extra for the spiral-bound version, as it's nice having the book lie flat on the table while I exercise instead of having to hold it open.
This book makes it easy.
It combines stretching w/ minor strength training using small hand weights
It has a quick at the office/computer workout as well
Depending on the circumstances one could do the workout and watch TV (like my elderly mom)
I find it very helpful especially for those who are weaker, elderly, out of shape or have a balance problem
etc but an average person can find this both helpful and fun and EASY to do as well.
I recommend this book/program. It is exactly what it says and it is a routine I think almost anyone can/will follow
even those who despise working out.
I bought it because exercises help with arthritis and I needed a modified workout. The more you use the exercises, the more you want to continue.
I have highlighted the ones that really help me and that I can do without hurting afterwards.
Buy it if you need to exercise with a chair.
