Too many teens think and plan based on the events of that day, rather than looking at a four-year or longer timeframe. This workbook encourages the teen to look at the goals they have, and to realistically look at the steps-- financially and academically-- that would be needed to reach their defined goals.
It's common knowledge that Generation Z-- the texting, myspacing, highly connected tweens and teens that are now in 6th to 12th grade-- will not make as much money or achieve as much wealth as the previous generations, including the Boomers.
This workbook helps kids to close the gap for their own achievement by looking at their abilities, goals, and knowledge and building the literacy they'll need to survive as an adult. I use the skills and techniques in the book to supplement the classroom curriculum which I teach to my own set of high school kids. It has been incredibly effective!
