He has escaped confinement and wants revenge on Dave McCall and everyone else that helped him put him in prison. Sounds like it is another job for Discreet Activities. Each steps up to do their part to solve the mystery in this latest vigilante series book.
This book, like the ones before it, was a page turner with nonstop action. Mr Bouchard knows how to grab your attention early on and keep it until the very end. I am looking forward to the next vigilante book!
A vigilante's drive is justice. The rub is that sometime justice is just another opportunity for evil to be visited upon the innocent.
A serial killer has escaped prison. Evil has a plan and a target. Death is sure to follow.
The heroes of the series are Chris Barry and his crew from an off-books government group aptly named, Discreet Activities. The team is made up of very talented people who all share the same goal. Serve justice, protect the innocent and helpless.
I've read each book in this series and even a few of them multiple times. I'm a huge vigilante fan so when I discovered the series I had hope that it would be an enjoyable escape. I couldn't have asked for more and that first book turned into a marathon reading session as I chewed through the series.
One of the great things about the series is that even if you've never read any of the other books you can pick this one up and have a very enjoyable read. Part of what makes it great is, as you read you'll wonder how all these personalities came together and what are their stories which, will most likely have you jumping back to your favorite book seller to start from the beginning. I actually recommend that's what you do. That curiosity will fuel your reading frenzy and adds to the experience as you wait to discover the mysteries behind the characters you've been introduced to.
I recently discovered that the first six books have been made into a set so that is what I recommend for all new readers to the series.
A vilian that David McCall put away comes for revenge against him and his friends. Despite the intricate plan, the agency figures it out without much work.
