Although my son is still a few years away from writing his applications, this book inspires me to discover and nurture his interests. Whether it's exploring his unique curiosity about atoms by visiting our local college science lab and engaging in advanced science courses outside of his school, or sharing his passion for playing the piano with guests in a retirement home, Dr. Bedor reminds me of the importance of participating in the world, being involved and giving back.
