Ghirardelli Chocolate Chip Cookies made perfectly, every time.	Make the perfect Brownie with Ghirardelli.	Sweeten any occasion with our Ghirardelli Chocolate Cake.

Ingredients

2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Baking Chips (contains milk)
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 1/4 cups unsifted flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped (optional)

Directions

1. Heat oven to 375ºF.

2. Stir flour with baking soda and salt; set aside.

3. In large mixing bowl, beat butter with sugar and brown sugar at medium speed until creamy and lightened in color.

4. Add eggs and vanilla, one at a time. Mix on low speed until incorporated.

5. Gradually blend dry mixture into creamed mixture. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.

6. Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheets.

7. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.

Note: The 2 cups of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips can be substituted with any variety of chip flavor (i.e.- Milk Chocolate Chips, 60% Cacao Bittersweet Chocolate Chips, etc.)

These baking chips are a great change up from milk chocolate chips. Since they're 60% cacao are still semi-sweet to my taste, not bittersweet, but I think they're better for most baking. A great value pound for pound compared to getting same at most grocery stores, if you could find them.

I love the product but really am unhappy that the delivery was laid in the hot Florida sun and my doorbell was not pushed to alert me to it's arrival. I wanted chocolate chips, not a chocolate bar. I had "bars" of melted chocolate on top, bottom and sides of the bag. This issue could easily be fixed by ringing my doorbell. 😒
