ALERT:This IS NOT White Chocolate (This is white baking chips) read on.

Advertised as Ghirardelli Classic White Chocolate Chips, But it IS NOT White Chocolate. The package is labeled "White Baking Chips". White Chocolate is made with cocoa butter, this product is made with "Palm Kernel Oil". When I attempted to return this item, it was "Ineligible For Return". After contacting Amazon and let them know the product IS NOT white chocolate I was given a refund.

This was advertised as white chocolate, but ingredients listed no chocolate, just palm oil!
White chocolate chips can be found , just not Ghiradelli. I love Ghiradelli products and always use when I need chocolate. What a disappointment!
However, Amazon graciously refunded my payment quickly!

Don't waste your money

I got these in the mail today and I was excited to use them and it turns out the entire delivery was melted it had not even been in the sun long enough to melt it went from truck to outside my door to in my house within a couple minutes and it's completely liquefied. And it says that the item can't be returned or refunded. It seems like other people have the same issue

This is not white chocolate, but the people at America's Test Kitchen gave it a collective thumbs up because in baking it worked better, it tasted better, than products that were made from real while chocolate. So we duplicated their experiment. They were right. Enough said.
Go for the authentic white chocolate and try the experiment youself. Palates may differ, but we think you will be pleasantly surprised.

The flavor is good, but it arrived via the mail and when I opened it, there was two bags of melted mush. I just put them in the refrigerator and now I have two barks of chocolate. If I want chips, I break off some pieces and smash in a baggie with a kitchen mallet. I would just say that the merchant needs to send a different way. Other than that, it was your typical white chocolate.
