WHO CARES THAT THE BAND GOT IN A CATASTROPHIC ACCIDENT!? WHO CARES THAT THE DRUMMER LOST HALF OF ONE OF HIS LEGS!? The Ghost Inside certainly does not. Every song on here is uplifting and looks tragedy right in the face and says "expletive you". I've seen TGI play live once, back at Riot Fest 2021, and watching the drummer go just as hard while crippled shows that the human body, mind, and spirit is resilient and possesses the will to fight.

Buy this album, buy the band's merch, and buy tickets to the band's shows (despite Ticketmaster/Live-Nation being a scummy, predatory, and greedy company) and show these guys the love they not only deserve, but want to give back to you!

You can never win. Bands go softer and bands go harder, seemingly always away from my idea of the perfect balance. So I’d actually like this band to keep going away from their “roots” and keep incorporating clean vocals, because those tracks are easily my favorites. All in all, the comeback is most impressive, but this album doesn’t really rise above fairly typical metalcore for me.

The return album from one of the most loved bands in metalcore. It’s overwhelming the emotion in these songs. Additionally, the production by Will Putney is incredible. I can’t wait to see them live in 2021/2022
